Disney put out a "Trailer #2 tomorrow" advert, and this clickbait RUclips channel just put that 10 second advert in front of Trailer #1 (which was a Teaser) and called the compiled video Trailer #2. Shameless clickbait. In about 6-8 hours the *actual* trailer #2 will drop.
At the movies I hope this time on May 4th, 2026. They need to show season 1-2 of The Mandalorian at the movies if they get permission as each episode only goes for 30 mins or even have a movie marathon as I would go to see them again on the big screen this time rather than on the tv.
A teaser for a trailer that comes out the next day is a waste of time. It’s a big middle finger to people interested in the movie. Just release a full trailer.

It seems to take place after the last season, because that's when Grogu got the beskar shirt and the little dart gauntlet, both of which can be seen here. As for the Razor Crest, it makes sense that he would get another one. The Naboo fighter was cool, but it's not something you can live in long-term.
ATATs don't literally walk everywhere, they get dropped by massive ships. Why on earth would they be dropped in a place where they'd need to traverse thin, windy mountain paths?
Two things I think this Mando & Grogu movie will do - I think its going to try and set up how the Imperial Remnant end up getting all that funding to create their "First Order" in the sequels. This I think will connect to the Skeleton Crew series, and show that the Ward character, that NR Officer, leader of the Adelphi Rangers will actually turn out to be a spy working for the Shadow Council; who uses her high position in the NR to oversee the whole operation that the New Republic took control of At Atten. Where she ends up overseeing a covert op, to secretly funnel off all those vast amount of old rep credits inside that vault, which get used to fund the FO, and creation of "Starkiller Base" which is what Mando & Grogu were travelling on in that stupid super bowl teaser. Second thing I think this Mando & Grogu movie will try and do is actually get into exploring Grogu's origins, thats what those clips of him and that alien asking him "are you scared? You should be." Somekind of test Grogu has to go through, to do with the origin of hos mysterious spieces. I really hope they DONT GO THERE but this is Disney, they're gonna milk little "Baby Yoda" for all his worth. George Lucas always said he wanted the "Yoda race" to ALWAYS STAY MYSTERIOUS and that Not Everything in the starwars Galaxy needs to be explained away; and I for one agree. I hope this movie DOES NOT do either of those two things, but analyzing the short clips of the trailer thats how it looks to me. You say this Mando & Grogu movie just looks like a war between the Imperial Remnant & the Hutts, but WHY would the Imperial Remnant waste their little resources and time fighting the Hutts? They would have retreated into the shadows, stayed quiet and be entirely focused on building up their new war machibe, the FO that comes about in the sequels era. Think about it, makes more sense that BOTH the "Imperial Remnant" & the Hutt Empire ARE AFTER SOMETHING OF VAULE, that can bring them immense wealth. EVERYONE seems to have overlooked that city-sized Vault deep within the core of that treasure planet "At Atten" in the series Skeleton Crew. Thats why that show was set purely in the same era as the Mandalorian, because it connects to it. Rotta the Hutt has been fighting as a Gladiator, but when he discovers the existence of the planet At Atten and its vault, he goes after that, so he can restore power to the Hutt Empire and ultimately lead it. This causes conflict with the Imperial Remnant who have been after the vault's massive assets to help fund their vast "First Order".
I enjoyed the show up to the end of season two, what a heart wrenching finale. I really looked forward to seeing season three and feeling seeing Mando struggle without grogu, without his tribe (after he removed his helmet), and without his ship. I mean they stripped back his character and even thrust the dark saber (a ticking time bomb of worms). It was set up perfectly for some sort of reclamation arch. Then came book of boba... ... *Sigh* ... Well in two episodes they undid everything that happened in season 2 without any struggle, just "his clan didn't really care he broke 'the way' and then Mando was sad, so he bought a new ship, and grogo was sad, so he came back" and it didn't even happen is the same series??!??!! Then apparently season 3 was a meandering mess, where Mando and grogu just wonder round the galaxy without any clear goals and Mando hands of the dark saber without any real issues. It's just sad. So first this I see the movie? We apparently no consequences is Disney star wars cus somehow, the razor crest has returned. Even his freaking ship grew back from ashes! It's just lazy writing and it's ... Disappointing.
I find it deeply dissapointing that the direction they have chosen with the trailers (presumably the tone of the film) is to make it silly. For me, the reason I love the Mandalorian series (mainly 1 and 2) is because it's so grounded and has this dark desaturated feel to it, both in visual tone and heavily in the writing. Looking at this trailer it all feels very 'in your face' relies on silly moments, Grogu seems to exist purely for daft moments. I dunno....I really hope the trailer has made a mistep and the film reverts back to the quality of the Series 1 writing and pace
Obviously, I don’t want to pass judgement sight unseen, but this is very concerning. Grogu seems to be a comic relief character for little kids. I’m very worried this movie will be having an identity crisis between being a space western and a Minions movie comedy. Even the title seems childish.
I recommend you star trek SNW, a good series You may need to watch Discovery which is the worst series of the franchise Also, i recommend Lower decks from star trek, also good series
From what we’ve seen, it’s all the same tone, bad cheap laughs for little kids. Reminds me a lot of the Minions movie trailer. And that movie had no laughs beyond the jokes that were in the trailer. This will likely be the same. I’m not typically a naysayer, but this movie stinks of a cash grab.
