My mother was born in Fishguard. My American father was stationed outside of Fishguard during WWII. You walked right past my Aunt’s old home, Vincent House on Main Street. You brought back so many happy memories for me. Thank you
Moved from Fishguard in 99 wish i hadn't but thank you for this video as it brought back a lot of memories for me.crazy to see the junior school i went too is no longer there.anyway appreciate the upload and take care brother.
My grandparents lived in Fishguard and I looked forward to visiting them every Summer, when I was a child, from the States. Your video has brought back lovely memories.
@@4KExplorer Allt är bra med oss. I take long walks in the forest around us. Dreaming of hiking Höga Kusten-leden this summer. Good luck with your films, I will follow them. Anna
I used to stay there when i was little as you walked over the little bridge and turned left that house with the road signs on the side of it thats the house we used to stay in in the lower town
I left Fishguard in 1971. All those empty shops, quiet streets, few pedestrians and cars. There was such a buzz there in '71, your film was really depressing.
I should clarify for context that it was filmed in December of last year during the second lockdown, hence why it was so quiet out. Thanks for watching, and I wish I could have seen it in '71!
That long road down from the high town to the low town could have been cut a bit. Also, the tide is out. Port areas tend to look nicer when the tide is in. Boats stay upright, etc.
