Thank you Dr., My wife has dementia and other mental problems. Her first husband abused her for 27 years, physical, emotional and sexual and he was unfaithful to her over and over again. Now that her dementia has progressed even worse(she is 77 years old) She imagining that I , her present husband is unfaithful to her seeking out the company of another woman which is absolutely untrue! and she reported to nurses and her kids that I abused her which is absolutely untrue! Her doctor knows the truth and knows about dementia and delusions she has. He is trying to take care of her in the nursing home. He knows there has been no abuse by me, her husband. I always took care of all her needs, seeing her every day in the nursing home. What can I do?
