Hi Steph! I had just ordered the screen tops off Amazon a few days ago and now I’m going to get the rack. I didn’t realize that the black cover is necessary so I’m getting the kit. I ordered alfalfa seeds too to make sprouts for me to eat. I was sick last two months and my gut biome gat all messed up with medications so this is part of my return to health. Thank you for sharing!

A few years ago i learned that sprouted golden oat (no chemicals) seeds have the growing strength of 1000 times of a new born babies cells. Chewing it until it becomes like a wad of gum gives you healing strength and it works really well for gut and immune health as well as healing pain in the body. This is very interesting video on use for chickens. They will be the healthiest chickens in north america lol

Norma here. I’ve never thought of sprouting lentils. I usually just make lentil soup. I don’t have chickens, but would love to try the sprouts in a salad, or even as a snack. The process looks easy enough.
and it’s great that your teaching Elora. Conner looks so cute with his hair longer and his new shoes are great. Kim is such a sweet giving grandma.

If you ever come out west for a vacation again you should really check out the Palouse. It is a gorgeous place, has several different camping areas, and there’s even a B&B where your “room” is a large commercial style tent guides use in hunting camps. I believe they also still have authentic teepees. Plus the best fishing ever!
