- My Pioneer MJ-N901 minidisc recorder deck swallowed a disc and won’t spit it out. I strip her naked and expose the naughty minx.

Recorded on my kitchen table using an old iPhone SE with dubious sound quality, and edited on the same phone using iMovie.
Interesting problem. Did you see @Techmoan's recent video about a similar problem? That was belt related, and I did notice that the motor continued to spin on yours even though the white plastic pully had stopped.
Maybe you've fixed it already (editing and uploading, for me, sometimes takes days). If not...
Did you try it with a different disc? It looked like the disc was jammed.
Tip it upside down with the case off and see if anything falls out.
You can probably manually operate the eject mechanism by manually spinning the while plastic pully. Maybe you can feel that someone is jamming and identify it without having a disc installed.
Looking forward to an update video.
Thanks for your comment! Really appreciate your advice. I will try everything you’ve mentioned and let you know how it goes. I made the video in its entirety on Thursday morning and Friday morning before the proper job, which really gets in the way of making RUclips videos. It’s amazing how after uploading to RUclips and feeling relieved that it’s finally finished, I often spot a mistake and need to edit and upload again. This YouTubing lark is much harder than people realize.
@@hifi-lofi lol and job getting in the way of YouTubing.
Totally agree. I wanted to shoot a video on Wednesday but couldn't due to workmen outside, Thursday I had family issues but got it recorded late evening. New phone recorded it in the wrong format for my editing software so I had to transcode it. Then it was auto-matched for copyright, so I tried to edit it but exporting failed after hours on two different PCs. Finally, at 2:30am it's uploading and I'll let RUclips cut out the copyright stuff. Sometimes it's frustrating, but on balance it's a good hobby.
@@hifi-lofi I just realised that I saw the early access version of the Techmoan's Minidisc eject mechanism repair on his Patreon. It went live to the public an hour ago here ruclips.net/video/C-KWJatb440/видео.html
@@CBitsTech thanks! By the way, some comments don’t appear under the videos despite my seeing them and being able to reply to them in the notifications. Let me know if this ever happens because I only remove spam and trolls. Not sure what the problem is. I’m concerned some people think I’ve removed their comments for no reason.
@@hifi-lofi I've had the same problem with comments. Often if someone leaves a comment with a link it won't appear.
Another problem I noticed is that if I reply to a comment from the YT Studio app, it doesn't put the @user at the front and I'm not sure whether the person gets notified. You would have thought RUclips would be better at this sort of thing.
