LYD as gill said one of all time great player in badminton history. Been the best in young age and maintained for the long time with different partners and has remarkable ultimate defence skill. For kevin as well, reach many things in also young age, famous for his unique talent, fast playing style and unpredictable shot selection. Moreover, they have different era but being the 'spotlight' in their respective era. Both are the prodigy kid that would be always memorized in all time badminton history. No point to debate who is better. Since we know both are best of the best and also we dont know when we will find such talents again. Both are also respect each other. Lee Young dae not even his prime and with his actual partners likes Yoo yeon seong or Jung jae sung. Lee would have won this match, Kim gi jung is the weakness of this loss.
LYD by far is great players with various partners just like Christian Hadinata was , Kevin just came out strong with Marcus so far . Of coz kevin and LYD now are best badminton players , they both similiar skills but kevin is younger and fresh .

MD Korea memang rajanya defense... Lee yong dae dng sisa2 kekuatannya masih bisa menampilkan defense2 apiknya, beberapa kali reli panjang yg benar2 menampilkan bola2 sulit kedua pasangan, bukan sekedar lob, seperti poin akhir set 1.. Tp sekali lagi umur dan insensitas bermain memang tidak bisa menipu... Korea sengaja melepas set 2, karena kalau mereka habis2an dan kalah, set 3 jelas habis stamina mereka... Ketika set 3, poin 15 sama, LYD dan KGJ malah hilang fokus... KGJ memang jadi titik lemah, tp ta gimana lagi stoknya tinggal itu... Kasian korea, entah bagaimana mereka memanage, LYD sampai g boleh comeback lagi, padahal saat ini ganda atau bahkan seluruh sektor sedang tidak berprestasi, ganda putra hampir tidak ada yg diharapkan selepas LYD... Yang mengundurkan diri pelatih yg di pelatnas korea, bukan yg independen macam LYD... As a LYD fan, this is an expected result. He's not back to his prime, and he's playing the minions in their prime with a partner that I believe isn't up to par... Yet. I am pleasantly surprised that KKJ hung in there and played great... Until he got tired. I'd love a rematch in a few months, and with a fitter KKJ hahah But the minions have been playing great and respectful badminton lately. That's amazing to see. I hope the Koreans can shape up so we can have some old school rivalry. Because the minions have no real competition right now. Maybe soneda/kamura, Goh/tan, and young Chinese pairs

The umpire is quite fair in this match, he even give warning when the pairs only play lob. Maybe whenever Kevin/Marcus play defensive, the umpire thought they don't play seriously. Lee yong dae dng sisa2 kekuatannya masih bisa menampilkan defense2 apiknya, beberapa kali reli panjang yg benar2 menampilkan bola2 sulit kedua pasangan, bukan sekedar lob, seperti poin akhir set 1..
Tp sekali lagi umur dan insensitas bermain memang tidak bisa menipu... Korea sengaja melepas set 2, karena kalau mereka habis2an dan kalah, set 3 jelas habis stamina mereka...
Ketika set 3, poin 15 sama, LYD dan KGJ malah hilang fokus...
KGJ memang jadi titik lemah, tp ta gimana lagi stoknya tinggal itu...

Yg saya maksudkan kenapa korea tidak mendukung LYD comeback yaitu, LYD tidak diikutkan pelatnas korea lg, atau diberi peran lebih, beberapa pemain senior mereka tidak masuk pelatnas lg, entah itu aturan mereka atau bgmn...
LYD & YYS sudah keluar, pelapisnya Kim Gijung & Kim sarang jg keluar, Shin Baek C & Ko S H sama keliatannya mereka masih dibawah 30 tahun padahal, kecuali LYD dan YYS ya... Masih bisa bersaing kalau dimaintenance, lihat saja Boe/Mogensen, yg 35 keatas, Hendra Ahsan 30 keatas, atau zhang nan dan markus yg sebenarnya seangkatan dengan mereka...

As a LYD fan, this is an expected result. He's not back to his prime, and he's playing the minions in their prime with a partner that I believe isn't up to par... Yet. I am pleasantly surprised that KKJ hung in there and played great... Until he got tired. I'd love a rematch in a few months, and with a fitter KKJ hahah
But the minions have been playing great and respectful badminton lately. That's amazing to see. I hope the Koreans can shape up so we can have some old school rivalry. Because the minions have no real competition right now. Maybe soneda/kamura, Goh/tan, and young Chinese pairs

LYD is only 2 yrs older than Gideon , Kim is the same age , if you call LYD KJH not in their prime , so is Gideon. You just want to bellitle Minions with exageration about the ' old timers ' . Minions make MD exciting to watch with their skills not just hard smashes and long rallies like the oldies.
Ask Your country to find players to beat Minions instead of just talking nonsense.

And pray tell, what SKILLS do they have that's so supernatural? Gideon still smashes, Kevin still defend and counter to kill at the net. What special skills do you speak off? Can they fly or have fire shoots out their armpits? Do you not see that there isn't as many team that has defense as solid as the Koreans to actually have long rallies? That's why the rallies last long back then, because everyone have strong defense... DUH. Come back when you know what you're talking about
