@abrarahmedcgi I did a few playing around yesterday about that. I did exactly as you said. in geometry nodes, I did a first flapping oscillation with sine and frame as input. then on the long axis of the blade, a secondary oscillation to mimick insects wings angle during flapping movement. you have to find the right pi multiple to keep this oscillation in phase, but it after a little tweaking it worked properly. you can add just a little bit of 1D nose to put a small about of variation in those two oscillations, that helps with realism. also, as it is a geometry nice driven displacement, don't forget to check the deformation box in the motion blur section, or it won't blur. the result is very convincing ❤️ thank you for this opportunity, it was a lot of fun. ☺️
This was awesome, the final shot together with the music was a perfect atmospheric moment! 🔥🔥🔥 How long did it take you to create the scene in Blender from start to finish?
@@abrarahmedcgi awesome! I have a day job so that's why I was asking if one can afford a small bit of time every day, if it is possible to achieve something meaningful in Blender, at least just for the fun of it.
I thought your shot was the real one. Dude, this is incredible!
He's got me too !! Great job !
More videos please! Would love to see what you're doing for the procedural texture. Cinema quality for real.
Thank you! I'll do more detailed videos next time.
Amazing work, the final result is stunning ! Thanks for the breakdown process
Stunning job, keep the good work
Шикарная работа!!!

VERY impressive!!
Amazing work Ahmed. Congrats.
Thanks Chris!
wow, I wouldn't tell which one is from the original movie if we put them next to each other. Great work!
thank you very much!
Very nice! I appreciate you showing your workflow. Although I'm a 3dsMax/Vray user the concepts translate perfectly!
Thank you. Vray is best!
Awesome work! Well done!!!
Thanks Malte!
Great work! 🔥 thanks as this'll be helpful
Thanks bro
thank you for sharing your excellent work!
welcome
amazing
more videos on environment please
Brilliant !
Awesome
Nice breakdow Abrar !
Thanks Kaviraj
Sick man :)
More videos please!
can you detail the geometry node setup for the motion blur of the wings?
maybe I'll do a separate video to explain this.
you can do this with a sine wave clamp the output with map range and plug it to the rotation.

I am Subscribing......
I wanna see more of these & in more details..
Thanks! will do more
It looks the same 😮😮

How long did it take you to create the scene in Blender from start to finish?
I did this last month.
I worked for 1-2 hours everyday, 3-5 days a week.

Amazing! Looking up to you for environments in Blender. What would you say is the most important thing for optimizing giant environment scenes?
Thanks! You should use instances whenever possible to reduce memory usage.
You forgot the heat effect comng from of the exhausts of the Ornithopter
damn!
please breakdown your nuke script💯
😂😂😂
Fantastique
Great work .. specially mountains part are like 100 percent real ….. Are you using blenders default renderer or some other ?
Yess! this is Cycles render
@ ok thanks .. great work
nice
Thanks!
we need a tutorial for the entire mountain and cliffs creation enhanced with megascans and the texturing pls pls
Stay tuned 😉
detail video
Great
Thanks!
Wow that's impressive. You could literally swap out the original shot for yours and no one would be the wiser.
Please start a Patreon and do more detailed videos
Thanks for the suggestion! I’m thinking of doing it in the future.
I want a good tutorial and I'm willing to pay!
Bangladeshi ?
