Hi Ash.. I have one ques regarding the camera. I had previously owned the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5g. The phone was very good on overall grounds but certain camera features made me give it up. I mean the cameras had no issues but extra tools like timelapse n other extra features were missing. Does this have the same things missing or have they been updated? I am talking the options under "More" in camera. A screenshot of that page would help (if thats permitted under Oppo-C4ETech collab).
After a long long time watching a tech videos and that too of Ash, feels great , i am watching your videos since long time , but from last year i lost interest in technology videos, but interest is back again .do you still do your speed test ?
Hey Ash, make sure you do a review on the Reno 8 too. Cause it's being offered at an excellent price of just 26k (card offers) and most people will think of buying it instead of the nothing
@@C4ETech Why don't you show CA capabilities? We need that in India more than anything else. Even if its your local sim, its fine. We share quiet a large amount of bands with the country you are living in currently. Thanks.
What the fuck is wrong with RUclips, great channels like igyaan and c4etech aren't getting their due attention?!! I don't think English is the problem ! And even if it is , it's not main problem.
Are the brand's stuck with IMX 766. Seeing more smartphones with the same sensor basically in the premium midrange segment and even in Realme GT 2 pro which is a premium flagship. What's the catch on this @C4ETech?
It may seem overpriced but after stock android and one ui ...color os is the next best ui...hence i won't mind spending a little more for the software experience because that is the top most priority in my list......but they should have given os updates for 3 years.... disappointed on that aspect yet it ua good phone for the camera performance...
The portion recorded on the phone's camera was great but it looks like it does have some jitters or stutters in the hand movement area. It might be caused due to the video conversion and resampling it in 60fps, if I am not wrong.
Bro does it have OIS? Also the bezels seems to be uniform on all side (especially on bottom ) ? Is it similar technology used in nothing, iphone, samsung s series? Sad to see 8mp ultra wide angle camera on a pro varient..😬 In my humble opinion, they should provide minimum 12mp ultra wide with autofocus..(and also have to remove the 2mp useless sensor)
Sadly no OIS but you get 2 variants of EIS. Steady mode and Ultra steady mode. They do somewhat justice to the lack of OIS and also the camera is stable even without turning on the steady modes so lack of OIS you won't feel much. 8mp Ultrawide is decent i would say. The picture depends more on the sensor being used than the actual resolution of the shot and also pair that 8mp Ultrawide shot with Oppo's image processing and Marisilicon X, you will kind of like the ultrawide shots even with 8mp resolution. Yeah they could have removed that 2mp macro and give 2mp micro instead like they gave on F21 series. That would have made the phone more bang for buck
And the bezel thing is a bit different than the nothing and Samsung's one. The process is the same they also curved the chin underneath the screen but Oppo did it in a far better way.
Despite the processor, the design will attract user the most, in my opinion. The camera seems to output great image and wide and ultra wide image seema ti have same or almost the same colour reproduction, nice. But the video sample..well, let's say, it's soft as a baby cheeks. 🤭
Why all these companies ignores Telephoto lens above 25k segment also... Brands Advertising we providing Excellent Cameras but How to make an excellent camera without a telephoto lens
because it's not a necessary lens on a phone unless its targeting zooming, and Oppo has basically left that job to Samsung and Huawei after they launched their Find X2 pro and Reno 10x zoom. Oppo's focus is now more on making a phone which a person can use for a very long time and be happy with and not just on cameras as they used to, You can see this trend on their Flagship Find X series too. Their Find X2 and Find X3 were extremely camera focussed but Find X5 pro targets not just cameras but everything else too
Macro we can just consider as yet another camera i guess 😅 But 8mp Ultrawide paired with Marisilicon X and Oppo's image processing software is far better than the competition with 12 and 32mp ultrawides in terms of color processing and dynamic range. Also we click Ultrawide shot for the sake of capturing a wide view not because we care about the details in general
Why do people fail to mention the fact that a 40k+ phone don't have OIS and it still comes with a 8mp ultrawide, my 3 year old OP 7T has a better camera specification than this
You are surely not gonna Zoom in a ultrawide shot to look for details are you? A camera's output depends more on the sensor being used and the Software processing than the actual resolution of the lens. 8mp ultrawide can be found on 20k phones but compare the output and you will understand why Reno 8 pro's one is far better than those. OIS i will agree too that they should have implemented it but Reno series never had OIS in the first place, so it us who are asking much for an offline centric phone. It does have EIS and that are as good as OIS on 30k phones. You can see an example of EIS on Reno Series in Mrwhoseboss's video on Reno 3 pro
@@dragonforcegaming7555 That's just an excuse to skip things. I'm asking why does phones still come with and 8mp sensor still why can't they just give a 12mp one? And bro to feel what ois does to video you should start using it that's not something EIS can replace anytime soon
@@rohitjosephalex2547 well yeah i can agree with the 12mp Ultrawide. The brands do cost cutting in Ultrawide and macro cameras. Maybe because people don't use Ultrawide much. Some people do love taking Ultrawide shots but majority of the people take shots from the main camera. So the maximum cost goes to the main camera and Display of a phone. Then it goes to the secondary cameras, haptic motor, etc. because if the main camera of the phone isn't rivalling the competition then specs game doesn't works. See for example Nothing's phone, it did a good spec game and also did all the free promotion it can through social media but the real phone isn't that great as it was considered, the specs game falls apart when compared to similarly priced Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme and Samsung phones. I never said that EIS can replace OIS. I said that EIS on Reno Series has been top notch since the days of Reno 3 pro and can Rival with OIS.
