i think they are using the two pieces of plywood to try and make a bigger area for the outrigger, then they have their mats on top of it. at 0:09 you can see. its not as good as steel plates, but plates are alot heavier to carry on their trucks, so i can see what they are doing. I did it once when i was set up on sand. 3 sheets of plywood to distribute, then my mats on top.
First off it’s not a truck crane. It. Mobile all terrain. And second plywood doesn’t belong under the out riggers.
