Yeah, I can't believe the Taco Bell wouldn't just give the guy what he ordered (or, at least, the cheaper substitute). Imagine if we always let companies give you whatever they felt like giving you after you paid for something else.
The way this officer was explaining what was going on to the employees seems like it would be pretty terrifying being detained and not free to leave your workplace without knowing why.
Just want to let everyone know that the employees were cleared of any wrongdoing after a 3 month investigation and security footage proved not a single employee poisoned this man’s food.
This wasn’t his first time trying to defraud a restaurant. It turns out, he did all this to himself in an effort to make the workers look bad. What a psycho
if what you are saying is true, I am sure he's doing it for money and not to make minimum wage workers, who won't even have that same job in a month, look bad.
The customer most likely put the rat poison in his food himself. Notice that the original interaction with the customer was at around 1:30 pm. The cops detained everyone in the restaurant shortly after 9 pm. The customer had more than enough time to frame the restaurant. Several issues: 1. The customer says he experienced symptoms after one bite but rat poison is not likely to have its effects instantly. 2. There was so much rat poison in the pictures. How could he have not noticed that amount prior to "one bite"? 3. When he spoke to the cops at about 1:40 pm, he claims that the argument was about his beverage. He had already been given the taco. So why would an employee allegedly mess with his food and hand it to him PRIOR to the argument? Would the alleged perpetrator have foresight about a future dispute? 4. Time stamp @22:15 -- The customer's last words to the police prior to driving off were literally, "They're going to get a lawsuit. I guarantee it." Did the customer have foresight, or did he just attempt to follow through with his threat? 5. Taco Bells have multiple surveillance cameras throughout the restaurant. Investigation of trash, CSI (investigated as potential attempted homicide), and video surveillance review led to clearing the employees of any wrongdoing. (This is no surprise considering the fact that he argued because of a beverage issue after he already had his meal given to him).
Apparently this is how he makes his living, notice the bright shiny new truck. He's made food tampering allegations about other restaurants on previous occasions I'm assuming most just give him a settlement to avoid the bad publicity thus encouraging his behavior. The manager remembered him I guess he forgot he hit up that Taco Bell already.
This is slightly misleading unfortunately. I read up on this case online and it showed that there was no wrongful actions done by the employees at Taco Bell. Surveillance was turned over and there was no evidence of wrongdoing. The police followed up with the customer about there being no evidence and they couldn't find the man. Seems like a potential money grab.
Law and crime seems to have a practice of questionable headlines that relays more the accusation than the facts supported by whatever evidence is known at the time of posting
I had wondered to myself if he created a disturbance resulting in police activity and then later could have poisoned himself and tried to blame it on the establishment. A freaking horror movie

Wait WHAT!?
Wow 😮

Where’s your proof of this. Pretty bold to make this statement with no evidence
@@PerezAutoRepair it's a fake comment 🤨
I have never anybody more confrontational in my life. He simply asked if he had anything to drink and it turns into a 5 minute rant 😂
The customer most likely put the rat poison in his food himself. Notice that the original interaction with the customer was at around 1:30 pm. The cops detained everyone in the restaurant shortly after 9 pm. The customer had more than enough time to frame the restaurant.
Several issues:
I guarantee it."
Did the customer have foresight, or did he just attempt to follow through with his threat?
5. Taco Bells have multiple surveillance cameras throughout the restaurant. Investigation of trash, CSI (investigated as potential attempted homicide), and video surveillance review led to clearing the employees of any wrongdoing.
(This is no surprise considering the fact that he argued because of a beverage issue after he already had his meal given to him).
the beverage was part of the argument because they didn't have the correct one I believe, so he wanted a burrito instead of the drink
They need to find this guy and put him in jail for faking a poisoning and almost ruining the reputation of the store.
The money they lost while they were closed down for the investigation then the slander he should pay
Also all employees that lost pay every day their job facility was closed!

💯💯💯💯💯
The company could sue this guy but it would be difficult to win.
