My cockatiel lost his mate a week ago and he's been lonely and depressed since. This video has him chirping and moving around his cage, which he hasn't done in a week. I stopped the video for a moment to sign in to my youtube account so I could leave this message, and he freaked out. This video may well save him. My mom and I brought my boy home when I was seven (I’m in my twenties now) a couple years later we adopted an older male who was thirteen at the time. The younger one passed away on Boxing Day. Without his caretaker, my dinosaur struggled through a few months until I decided to put him down. It’s taken years to even think about them without crying. Recently I felt like I was finally ready for a new bird and adopted a rescue from a hoarding situation. I don’t know what her life was like but I think she’s lonely, suddenly living without dozens of other birds. Today, I showed her this video during one of her occasional screaming fits and she was GLUED to the screen. I’ve never seen her so relaxed. I skipped ahead whenever she couldn’t see a tiel and we watched the whole thing together. Thank you from both of us. This video was a real gift.
I am so glad it was of help. I have other similar videos that people play to their birds on a daily basis when they are at work, etc. One is 8 hours long! I wish you all the luck and happiness in the world with your new addition.

My sincerest sympathies to you. I lost my 11year old cockatiel 1 year this week and still not over it. Love my other birds but none can replace my lemon yellow lutino princess. Cockatiels are so precious.

My Bird (Echo) loves to watch these birds. When ever these birds eat he will go over to his food an eat with them and he will try to fly to them. These birds really bring him out of his shell
This video is my cockatiel's favorite. Lots of cockatiels eating, etc., but also interacting with their human. He is so calm and lovey when we view this one. Thank you!
I got my poor male cockatiel when he was in a pet shop losing feathers because people would torture him. Since then he could not fly and sadly cannot leave the cage due to it but he is healthy and happy and I am just as happy if not happier to have this bird by my side.
That is no reason to imprison him in a cage. He is depressed. Feathers or not, he needs exercise and freedom. A cockatiel in a cage most of the day is not happy, and a cockatiel that does not get exercise is not healthy. I am sorry your bird had a hard time in the pet shop, but locking him in a cage, without regular play time outside it, is also torture.
@@ericsanchez3663 The thing is every time we would let him out, he would try to fly and hit walls and damage himself. I could only pray right now that we can get his wings clipped by someone trustworthy and have him be able to walk around again.

I just moved across the country with my my birb (Ash), and this is the perfect de-stressor for her.
I read the title and thought it was a cocatiel companion for me and I got so excited! It turns out it's for the bird I'm not allowed to get. Thanks for the video anyway, even if I'm not using it for its intended purpose
I just started playing this video my cockatiel is going nuts! She’s always doing this when she hears other birds. She’s also a sassy little tiel.
me: *doing homework*
Birb: screams in my ear
me: 0^0 ow *turns on this video*
*it helps him, but my hearing will never be the same...*
he also fell asleep already lol
Jorbur 😅
Mine screams at me to come give him attention then i come and hes just like 👁👄👁

I miss my baby birds! Thank you for sharing!
Dude this is so cool thank you for putting that on RUclips it is working for my birds to train them
You're welcome
This has cured my depression, my sickness, my headaches, my muscle cramps, my lack of sleep, ect.
I have a 25 yr old cockatiel that is so obnoxious and behavioral and I watch these sweet little ones on here and wonder what happened to mine.
Cheryl French me too
My cockatiel is 22 years old I hope she lives to be 25 years old too.
Oh don't get me wrong he's spoiled and loved and gets plenty of attention and anything he wants to eat just give us a run.
All birds have different personalities
Me too...can't work with him because my skin is too thin:( At least he enjoys this video and when we talk to him. I feel sorry for him because he is so fearful. My sister found him in the wild.
I had a cockatiel since I was little, I lost it quit a few years ago. I realized that no matter what you do a pet will die or get lost one day, that made me really sad. This video made me feel better, now they are my virtual birds haha. Please don't mind my English.
Your English is really good! Keep up the good work!
Awwww they are sooo cute oml!
Thank you so much for this beautiful video. It gives my birds hours of sights and sounds which motivates them to chirp along 🐦 🎵.
Have you tried this video: ruclips.net/video/isWuPPaQNR8/видео.html

My white pied cockatiel Miso loves this video :)

My pleasure, glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you so much for posting this video! My cockatiel loves it.
I don't own any birds but I love to look at them close up, and the chirping and singing is very pleasant to my ears! What an amazing aviary, all the mod cons :D
Thank you for this marvelous video!!! I have 2 new tiels...a blonde and grey.. they respond...I love your "hotel" for them. I want to make one too.
My girl has been so quiet all day.. Had to separate her from her little budgie friend. This finally made her make some noice and bring peace to my birb mom heart
omg that cockatiel at 35:18 trying to woo a totally different type of bird (whose Mama or Papa is trying to feed!). crazy!
my grandpa's aka my sister's & mine by the name of Freckles passed away today :(
she was the sweetest bird i've ever seen.
i'll miss her forever!

@@repentobeyjesus9187 thank you :(
This makes me think of my grandma. She used to teach me about the birds in her yard, & we'd watch them on the porch. Those are some good memories to have.
I Know [and] I Actually Stayed Theee Whole Time!! Very Soothing Actually!!! Thank You!!
Well done quality video. Aviary is awesome.
Incredibly relaxing background, so soothing. It also seems to calm my 2 Maltese dogs as well, much better than CNN! Thank you all!
