In this episode, Aaron surprises Annie, the creator of Gold In September (GoldInSeptember.org). And together they surprise the entire neighborhood.

Wow what a wonderful cause, Annie is a very special young lady and it sounds like her brother Jack was a pretty special kid too. Aaron Rogers is a fantastic role modal for everyone how to be humble and give back to the community. I have no doubt he will be a great father to his children someday when he starts a family someday.

I see it in this light: Aaron Rodgers gets to do what he enjoys doing for a living. And he took it upon himself to make a point of it to use his prolific status as a means to do the things He wants to do. Other Professional athletes do the same thing. I'm so glad He's my beloved Green Bay Packers Quarterback. He uses his prolific status to push what he cares about; and what he cares about proves that he is a real person. God Bless Aaron Rodgers for: A) being a real person, B) being a heart-conscious human being, C) taking time to raise awareness in the community and D) (and least importantly) winning games for the Green Bay Packers. At the 2:00 mark when she realizes it's Aaron, her initial surprise is quickly replaced by her deep affection for the man who had cared so much for her twin brother. That hug says everything about how she and her family must feel about Rodgers and what he must have meant to Jack.

Played jr hockey in the NY area in the 80’s Had a blackeye and a few stitches I went to visit my girlfriend who worked in a hospital in New York one of the nurses was somewhat of a hockey fan and asked me if I would go and hang out with some of the kids it was the most special thing I ever did and they didn’t even know who I was they were all fascinated by my stitches and they had more than I did amazing
i USED to half polio. As a kid when grownups were not around it was like The Lord Of the Flies once left alone. Of course I survived but I remember and feel for every kids that get set apart from his piers because of illness. my limp is has gone away but is on my mind. I guess what I am trying to say is that we should create good memories for kids and those we love.. sick or not sick . This choked me up , how his sister has not forgotten and carries on for brother. .

This is just a wild guess, but probably fans of organizations that Aaron is routinely not so kind to. The Bears, Lions, and Vikings come to mind. Again, that's just a wild guess. For the record my opinion is that anybody who disliked this video is pretty heartless.

Probably aged members of the Taliban. I'm a Bears fan - cancer killed our beloved #34, so any action against cancer gets our heart and respect. This includes #12 of the Packers. Yes, twice a year he gives us headaches and deep psychological grief, but this is the real Aaron here. And Annie: continue carrying the torch for more Gold in September. Great video.

Wow. I have spent more than an hour viewing comments on this video (and have returned comments on some). My first reaction was how did this escape me as it is 5+ years old. My second and knee-jerk reaction, being a Packers fan was "good for you Aaron Rodgers!" Bottom line? Aaron Rodgers should not be the focus here and I am sure he knows that. Annie, the loss of her brother and her cause should be. Awesome video. God bless you and your family.
