I was introduced to this band when they opened for Marilyn Manson in 2012. I'm not a fan of their music. However, I had a quick opportunity to talk to the "2 hot girls" in the opening band after the show, and Carla was so, so sweet and beautiful. Like I said, I don't listen to their music, but far more importantly, her kindness has made a lasting impression on me.

I've been listening to the butcher babies for some time this year and I gotta say they're amazing even though I heard 2 songs before but never seen their interviews and I gotta say the 2 singers are very strong and amazing women.
I've heard of them, but only this morning have I heard or seen them. I hv to admit, she is one of the prettiest women I have EVER seen!! Then I read about her. Watched a cpl videos (of course most of it is hateful bs). She is Ethiopian and Finnish from what I read. I love that exotic look. Dark hair, complexion and yess those eyes!!! More importantly, I loved seeing how REAL she got in this video. Anxiety sucks!! Due to my former profession I was diagnosed with PTSD (very hypervigilant at times). Not fun at all.. I deal, and I know that I had protected and comforted ppl in some of the worst situations. So I remind myself of that, and it at least puts some kind of justification to it. I never know if the ppl in these videos ever actually watch or read comments, but Carla. I feel ya. You're a beautiful person, and strong as hell. Keep tearing shit up!!

I really enjoy watching this because am sure a lot of people can relate and teaches us that everyone's human and that even people that have gone far with there lives has gone through hell and yet they succeed in what they wanted to do.
I am not sure what race she is mixed with but I am bi racial too, African American and Caucasian.... I can totally relate to Carla on that matter and I can totally relate with the anxiety issues. I have struggled for years especially in high school I was going threw an identity crisis with my race and my social anxiety. I feel like music especially metal in general, doesn't matter what genre of metal but it always helped me cope and when I joined a band as a drummer that was it! I could totally express myself and it was an outlet but at the same time I was behind a kit so that in itself helped me over come with my social anxiety and being infront of people I always felt my kit was my shield. I didn't know how to express myself any other way but the drums and heavy metal music in general aloud me to do so in my own way and it gave me so much confidence in myself and I finally found out who I was and became comfortable in my own skin. Thank you Carla for sharing your encouraging story!
My story exactly. I sent the Canadian gov't an email today hopefully opening their eyes to how they demonize abused children with their jails and prisons when they should be, instead, helping them out and teaching them the things about life and setting an example of how their supposed to behave. Things their parents/caregivers never did as in the perfect example of Canadian gov't did to and continues to this day to the First Nations people and those residential schools(denying them their disability cheques).
I have loved these chicks for their music first and foremost forever..... definitely a fan since Goliath. However.....the more I've learned and experienced BB I have seen that amazing ladies that they are...and damn. Carla is the most beautiful woman in the planet inside and out....I fucking love you and Hedi....it was an honor to see you and meet you...after covids bs I hope to meet again....love y'all.
Carla and I are the same. I'm 16 and I can't walk outside without having the fear that I will have to talk to someone. I sometimes fear talking to people. It can be quite frustrating! When I walk down the street and see I see someone on the same path as me, I walk across the road and walk on the other path so that I don't have to walk past them.
