@Bearicaaa old ones yes absolutely. Not new ones. Maybe you aren't familiar with livestock but as a horn dries it becomes brittle and hardens. New ones hold up well. Please if you don't know educate yourself. Come to a slaughterhouse and grab a fresh horn. They're not hard until extended amounts of time have passed. At about the 4 month mark yes they become hard and start spitting out shards. Blanket statements don't help. Especially when these are being used to clean teeth.
@ horns don’t clean teeth. You need to brush them. Maybe you shouldn’t make a blanket statement and tell people that horns are great if you’re buying “special” horns
@Bearicaaabeen doing it this way 20 yrs, never need a dental on my dogs, vet loves their dental health. Not changing it now for you or anyone. 😂 Never picked up a toothbrush and have consistently had 6 dogs for 20 yrs in my kennel at a time that I clean teeth with horns, bones and nylabones. Never had a broken tooth, not one of the puppies I produced over the last 20 yrs have either. 😂 Stay mad not changing it.
Awesome 😅 thanks for the update,!looks like you are so creative! Thanks for all your effort! You are the best 😅
The dog food roll ball seems unsafe for a lot of dogs. Also the horn is no longer considered safe for dogs teeth, it’s too hard to
@Bearicaaa these are meant to be supervised play toys. And old horns are too hard. Replace frequently.
Risks include broken teeth or cuts if the horn splinters. There are some nice rubber toys for heavy chewers
