Hi thanks for watching! And sorry for my delayed reply! I made a size 4 and my measurements are 5'4" 33" 28" 36" . I recommend you to go with a size 8 for a bottom parts as this dress doesn't offer plenty of overlapping area.

Yes, there are videos about how to serge without a serger out there. Also you can finish the seams in many different method!
Why do you sew and then serge the seams?
I feel my stitches are unsecured only with serger stitches!
