In SAP there are two types functional modules and technical modules. Functional any qualification can do ex FICO, MM, SD,QM, PP etc ...
Technical has coding ex ABAP, Basis etc..
If you are fresher see what you are good and study what each module is...

You can do any non technical modules if you are not in coding like MM,SD,PP,PM, WM... If you are BE nd interested in coding then can do ABAP or BASIS.

if you are diploma and did Mech engineer then you can do SAP MM, if just diploma
then as per recent few updates currently companies not preferring Diploma candidates. please check in linked in if any diploma candidates are working in SAP modules and communicate. but there are other high scope sector which you can do like digital marketing, Graphic design, UI/UX design, data analitics etc..

Hi Jyothi, you can do any SAP module as you are considered as fresher.. do proper research on all modules and get some consultations thru linked in and other sources who are civil background but currently into SAP..

SAP is not IT, few modules like ABAP, BASIS can be done by IT background candidate's... If you are interested in IT first get some domain experience then you will get to know which IT related SAP module to do...
