cousin/chachi se baat na karna is not clear. maybe Ustadh don't know the micro issues within society. e.g.
1. i've seen cousins who were bridge to major haram relationships. their parents were trying to stop the girl, but she was meeting with her cousin and her cousin were kinda messenger between both of them.
2. what extent you can disobey your parents? e.g. Ibrahim A.S asked Ismaeel A.S to divorce his wife, is that story misinterpreted? aren't we following the deen e Ibrahimi? why Prophet ﷺ said "your mother, your mother, your mother?" why haven't said "your boyfriend? your husband? your children?" clearly there must be lines drawn between responsibilities and obedience. if anyone wants to go in co-education school (let's say PU, NCA) where it's confirm the batil is more than kheirah, it's better the LISTEN YOUR PARENTS. i'm sad that Ustadh always focus more on giving wings to immature babies to let them fail instead of stopping them earlier. that's where i bent more towards Omar Sulaiman for specifically parents and husband k huqooq. rest i respect and agree with him on 99% speeches.

@@MusaKhan-ib2vk i'm also talking about girl to girl conversation and don't tell me you never heard such issues in society. in islam, a strange girl is na-mahram too. a girl bridging (receiving message from a boy and giving it to her girl cousin because her girl cousin's parents don't allow her girl cousin to buy a phone) for another girl for haram relationships is wrong. gheebat (backbiting) is very normal in our society too. if i know two girls will sit and do backbiting with each other, i will warn first, but after constant warnings i would ask the girl from my family to stay away from that girl. AND SHE MUST LISTEN / OBEY TO HER PARENTS.
