Yeah I don't know if that's just his response to that kind of things, which makes it look out of place, but if it's not just his default response, then that is really out of line and oblivious. I venture to guess that it's just his personal normal response to something like this. Like some people laugh in funeral because they don't know how else to cope with it kind of thing. That was, however, the first thing I noticed as well.
Also, mob mentality - if the men were alone it is possible that they might not have had the “courage” to do something like that on their own (doubt it tho… they are scummy for sure) - but in a group it’s a whole different energy. That “groupthink” makes it easy for a person to do something they normally wouldn’t, whether it be a specific action, or even just their own “extremes”

The amount of harm and abuse being inflicted on children these days are absolutely appalling. Every day there is a new case breaking and you know these are just the ones coming to light. Seriously disgusting. We must protect children at all costs.
In my country, children younger than 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times. I would never leave teens unsupervised as they are most vulnerable and irresponsible during this phase.
The latter. I watch a lot of true crime from different time periods. It's the latter. BUT it's also that they get caught less due to mostly going after people who trust them.
Women are just as capable of these horrendous acts as men. Thirty years ago a teacher was sleeping with my 16 year old friend. He didn't know it was wrong. She romanced him and made him believe he was a man and they were going to live happily ever after.
I don't like this lawyer guy they brought in. Super cringe and uncomfortable with all the joking and laughing. Kind of creepy. They need more professional people on here.
I'm curious to know how long this was going on. and why in the world wouldn't these parents see the child was upset and / or drugged. I mean, she was a babysitter, not a place that she would go for a week.

Yeah I don't know if that's just his response to that kind of things, which makes it look out of place, but if it's not just his default response, then that is really out of line and oblivious. What kind of people live in this building? It's weird to have so many predators in one place.
Predators are everywhere
Also, mob mentality - if the men were alone it is possible that they might not have had the “courage” to do something like that on their own (doubt it tho… they are scummy for sure) - but in a group it’s a whole different energy. That “groupthink” makes it easy for a person to do something they normally wouldn’t, whether it be a specific action, or even just their own “extremes”
