A draw against Brentford a win against a struggling Manchester United team that was absolutely battered by wolves and a win against Bournemouth and a manager whose only success of note is with Celtic a team that could have Gary Neville in charge and still win the league. Always the same story with the most deluded fans in the Premiership. They are in a serious situation where they have not replaced the players who were getting battered last season but have lost the most valuable player. Son will struggle this year and Maddison has injury issues that will cost them massively.

This is how football fans are always. They're on cloud9 when they're on a winning streak but when things go wrong they always find someone to blame. Act like an adult. If you can realistically challenge for the Prem title and champions league trophy, okay fine I get it, you can rest players and give the younger players and bench players a chance in the League Cup and FA Cup.
However if your club doesn’t have a good realistic chance of winning the prem title or the champions league trophy, and especially those that are not even in the champions league. They need to be taking the FA Cup and League Cup seriously.
But it’s not just the top clubs, the bottom clubs don’t take the FA Cup and League Cup seriously either, because they would rather stay up than win a trophy for some reason.
