I like how the ruffles on the sleeves feel like they were added by Boa too, since I'm guessing she gave him the clothes in the first place EDIT: My headcanon now is that Boa actually gives him a tailored version of the red wrap-around shirt she wore on the night she was sick and Luffy asked for her help to get to Marineford! It even has the gold sash! And the cloak Luffy wears right after the timeskip is the exact same one she wore to hide him when she stepped onto the Navy ship. Man, I love One Piece.
I think One Piece characters changing fits every arc is a cool thing, doesn't feel weird like how in cartoons or maybe even in some anime (not sure) they always wear the same outfits throughout the whole show which always kind of bothered me for some reason.
I remember playing the first One Piece game all the way back on the NES. Such memories, and a great kick-off for one of the most iconic gaming franchise in history. Nintendo really did the right thing by hiring Eiichiro Oda so that he could go on to direct his dream game One Piece into being one of Nintendo's biggest franchises.

I love post timeskip default outfit, it keeps the east blue outfit vibes, but adds more pirate motives that are just amazing, the best Luffy's design
