Hi Paul, I really like your videos, specially draft of standard sets. I do not have the resources to become a Patreon, but I can offer an occasionally coffee. Thanks!
Man you were right I do think that you’re crazy for taking take up the shield over terror of the peaks, but I can see that it probably was the right choice. I live in a fantasyland where it’s easy to cast double off color splashed rares.
I’ve just been favoring blue black and it’s always open and trophies my last 2 drafts. I drafted OTJ more than any other set and got used to the blue black archetype and it’s underplayed so favoring good blue cards early on over green/white cards if it’s close has been pretty rewarding because it’s open more than it should be.
On average, I play 4 colors in this format. If a pack doesn't have an A tier card, I'm taking a desert or a green fixer. That way I never have to pass a bomb in the later picks.
@@haumph You're right! I didn't phrase my comment well. I probably would have done 2 pylons and no archway, but you played your deck perfectly either way!
"I rarely, if ever, pass up a beaver.."
I was in the first game, felt so bad when I drew Roxanne haha ^^ GG and thank you for the great content!
Terror of the peaks in every draft pool confirmed.
I swear he opens them every draft pack 2 or 3.

That last game was soooo satisfying 😅 nice plays with a pretty decent deck, Paul! Love your content

Don’t worry you’re not alone hah
Every point of damage matters! :D good job
"I made a mishap with the beaver"
I laughed out loud.

It's Official! The death of OG Cheons. @4:30 "I really dislike Blue/White as a color combination"
Unreal game with the Shackle Slinger chad lol
"I dont need Conduit Pylons #47." 🤣
i think playing animus that first game u drew it was correct. opp at 2, no fliers. u even had tapper. Demands immediate answer or u win.

BIG green 💪
Dust Animus > Mana Drain Agree with the pick!
You came away with a pretty good deck considering you were obviously fighting for cards with other drafters.

1:06:48 Bridled bighorn is indeed a mount
I strongly feed that arid archway isn't worth it. Pylon way better IMO. And you had 3 of them!
3 pylons isn't ideal

You miss-spelled "Fillers" 😂😂😂
