I lost a cousin I understand
My grandpa passed away 3 days ago (he raised me up since my parents were super busy when I was a kid). because of the pandemic, I couldn’t travel internationally to attend his funeral. After watching his burial through zoom, I noticed through my front door window that the outside was red. I went outside and saw the most beautiful sunset and afterglow. When I went back into the house, this song was playing on my RUclips since I was listening to random songs before I paused RUclips to start zoom. When I heard the lyrics, I started crying like crazy. I felt that since I couldn’t go back home to see him one last time, he traveled half of the world to see me and told me: darling, I’ve loved you a thousand years and I will love you a thousand more.
Edit: after I post this, I receive encouraging comments from strangers all the time. I just want to say thank you. Thank you for leaving the kind words. It has been crazy all over the world these recent years, but let’s not lose faith in kindness. Every now and then, I would remember the last words he said to me. He told me through video chat in the hospital before he became too weak to talk, that: I miss you. I’m happy that I had a chance to tell him, I miss you, too.

I binge watched the twilight movies with my wife last night and me and her started crying and kissing and holding eachother close once this song came on at the end of breaking dawn part 2. I've never seen the twilight series but enjoyed em very much. My wife and I got out of very bad relationships before we meet each other a year ago and are so happy to have found eachother after going through he'll trying to find each other for years. I felt love she was a blind bunny i took the chance of having her i knew she was disabled no one wanted her but I took her in but one thing I know she's what God sent me and what I needed but now she's gone and idk what to do I can't even lay her to rest or pay to get her creamated I CANT DO THE ONLY JOB I HAD i had to start a go fund me and i haven't raised any money still i feel hopeless and useless....
