Man, that 8-bit part got me, especially when he tilted his head. He doesn't really understand what's going on and finally gets defeated. But, as with any real star or planet, the beginning stages of an Astral birth will always be chaotic ones until it becomes a more.....stable form from the energies gathered. And something tells me that this little diamond in the sky... just got a free ticket to happiness and spring breezes.....and BIG appetite!
Gray Grey oh boy. We already know how safe popstar is with TONS of Kirby’s thank to kirby mass attack but a permanent TWO Kribies?...Kirbys?...Kirb...I? However it’s pronounced I can imagine there not being a huge threat to pop star for a good uh...millennium.
5:49 as void snaps back into reality, he realizes that a song is playing in the distance. It sounds...happy, and cheerful, and so familiar...it's not at all like the sounds he usually hears. It's not a song of sorrows or a chorus of jealousy, it's a tune of hope and love. Void listens, somehow knowing what note comes next. He smiles, feeling warmth in his core, warmth he'd never felt before. Void wonders, will he ever have what this song has? And then, a final blow has been struck, and Void is defeated. Just before Void's body gives out, he feels a calm, gentle breeze. He smells yummy treats, and starts to yearn for Naptime. It feels unreal, like he's in a dream land, but void knows that he'll get to stay in this paradise for a while. As a last goodbye to the world he once roamed, he smiled, letting everyone know that he's finally ok. Void steps into his new home, and lays under a tree for a well deserved nap. And when Void wakes up? Hopefully...hopefully...hopefully... he'll be my friend.

In a fact I always thought VOID was just completely falled into madness how most soul boss ended like. And this is only reason why did he smiled when defeated,it wasn't getted his freedom. He is just died, without chances to survive. For me his freedom all the time was only destruction and that's it
I can't believe this thing is related to kirby. Imagine the horrors that would be brought to dreamland if kirby ended up like void did. There would be no hero to stop nightmare from stealing dreams, dark matter would continue to spread, O2 would destroy ripple star, marx would take over popstar, magolor would get his hands on the master crown, queen sectonia would fall further into madness and let her kingdom fall into nothingness, and haltmann will complete his mechaization of the entire planet. It's a pretty grim reminder that if kirby wasn't influenced by positive energy, the entire universe would've been brought to it's knees. Also you did an amazing job on with the animation! I bet it was tedious to animate voids patterns.
Well... void isn’t necessarily bad, as it states it depends on positive or negative energy gathered. Let’s just say void is like a child, and Hyness being a parent. Hyness gives void bad jamba hearts, resulting in a bad void. Dark matter is the opposite of Kirby, it is.. light matter if you will. The line is like this Light matter -- Void (In between, depending on positivity or negativity) -- Dark matter
MetaNARS Although I think unlocking original Kirby is a metaphor on how void has restarted, not literally void reincarnated because you can fight void while playing as original Kirby.
A little backstory behind the production of this! I think I actually first got the idea to do something like this when I first listened to this song in full. anyone who has played this boss fight probably knows what I'm talking about when I say the music pretty much blew me away . It was a transcendent experience almost. Completely unexpected! So I wanted to make something that captured the feeling of listening to it for the first time, kinda. something that you could watch and go "Oh yeah, this is THE video for this song." I hope that doesn't sound vain, that's mainly what I was trying to achieve so it's up to you to determine if I reached that! I am very proud of how it came out. I first started working on this on... march 11th i think..? So that's less than two months of time I had to finish it. I actually got the idea to do the rest of the Green Greens collab while working on this! I honestly almost doubted if this was possible. but I did it! thank you so much for watching! and, if you're subscribed to me for the funny short videos, don't worry, I'm still working on getting more of those out there!

I actually heard some stories of people who died for some minutes but they were brung to Life. There's nothing but darkness after our path. You just fall in the void without any sense or feeling. Enjoy your life while you can,because the end is pretty bad.
Kirby arrived in Planet pop star because of dedede but what about void termina? he wasn't looking for Kirby void ends he was transported near pop stars by lord hynes with the intent to conquer the universe but nobody (at least there) was looking for Kirby... (that's hard to explain)
Let me just say that I absolutely adore how Void switches to his Dark Matter forms when the Song of Supplication leitmotif plays in the song. It's almost as if the song itself is conflicted over what melody to choose, similar to how Void is conflicted between the matters of good and evil. You did an amazing job with this.

Kirby is part of this destructive force. Yet, because he was made of love, he fell to his new home, popstar. He took on the form of an intimidating creature, the meta knight, to scare off attackers. Because he was made of love he became a cute puffball instead. He had to face his opposite, what was held deep inside. Because he was made of love, he saved the universe.
It's like the combination of all Kirby's bosses, the ambition of the magolor, the pride of sectonia, the madness of Marx, Haltman's disinterest, the evil of Nightmare, the sorrow of Drawcia and the pain of all of them and also of Zero and dark matter, and the part that I adore more. It is that deconstruction of Greens Greens, the most characteristic theme of Kirby, literally the most iconic theme of the entire franchise, since it is on a smaller scale, which seems darker, as if something had broken inside Void. I imagine this part as Void's childhood, like another Kirby, only that instead of growing up in the pink and beautiful world of Pop Star, he would have grown into a much darker and more evil variant (probably the another dimension of the DLC and the world of Amazing Mirror) in the end being consumed by evil and becoming In the Destroyer of Worlds it is now. But as the game itself says, the next time it comes, it will be this time as an ally.

NintendoBrother according to the devs, phase one of the Kirby franchise is over. It revealed to us that each universe gets a preset amount of star warrior beings, either incarnating as a Kirby or Void, and in this game Kirby fights something of like 6 times greater power and only wins because he had his pals with him. But since there are a preset number of star warriors, people are assuming a new Kirby is gonna show up or were getting void 2 electric boogaloo.

I still think this boss in Star Allies is one of the most depressing yet uplifting Kirvy Bosses of all time. Hyness wanted to summon Void to destroy all worlds, but Void never truly wanted that. Void was a blank canvas, this is due to both black AND pink hearts being scattered across the galaxies. What would've happened if Hyness had gathered the pink ones instead?
I believe that if hyenas created a void termina heart out of kindness hearts, he would have created a new Kirby. This is a theory on how the original Kirby was created.

I love void's design, the darkness inside is clear from hyness' influencer, but outside is a white canvas painted by kirby's kindness. Void switches between dark matter form (ever opening eye) and kirby form. Once he is reborn as kirby, his inner eye will close, and he will be able to dream again.

I have a theory: kirby is a species, probably born from an ancient void kirby that is now dead. Kirby was born from void, making him the most powerful kirby of everyone. Meta knight, galacta knight and others come close, but kirby just is the void of his dimension, making him powerful.
Kirby can be seen as the main representative of a species that is named after him, but kirby is actually sub-species of dark matter, it may not seem obvious at first but these 4 signs show: 1. Dark matter have "orbs" that orbit their main, circular body, using them as arms to fight and hold items, very similar to Kirby's small arms and legs. 2. Void when he is defeated has a small face like kirby's, which is explained as the more positive energy a dark matter gains the more "kirby" like they will become, such as with gooey. and the less positive energy the more "demonic" they will become. such as miracle matter. 3. In the anime, kirby was stated as an evil being under N.M.E.'s control, who rejected their control and became a star warrior. 4. The current shadow Kirby design is that of kirby, but with see through skin and a black-hole like texture inside him, in other words... a *void.* All of these facts lead me to believe that Kirby was once a dark matter but turned good..
I wonder how galacta knight would fit. It’s implied that he is the same as meta knight, and by proxy Kirby. But despite looking like them, he nearly destroyed the universe before being stopped by the ancients.

Kirby is Void's positive incarnation. When Kirby Star Allies ends Kirby's Dream Land starts and so on. Void's colors, the friend movement stars appearing when he "dies", his color, his knowledge about every boss Kirby has met (Kirby's memories), the chiptune part in his theme, being an "Astral Birth", as Kirby is astral too (Kirby of the Stars), and most importantly the artpiece "A farewell to Kirby" (Kirby goes off as there can't be two Kirbys, and thus is replaced by classic Kirby, a younger version who we even get to play as in KSA, confirming my theory even more!)
My only question is...what happened to everyone else? Dedede, Meta-Knight, Adeline, Magolor, and so on. How could everything start over when these guys still have memories of the Kirby THEY saw? Unless, Void's death erased their memories or just legit reset the entire universe, but I find that unlikely...
Multiple Kirby’s can exist at once. I mean, it’s heavily implied that Meta Knight and Kirby are the same species. Perhaps this new Kirb will find its own dreamland, its own little place to have picnics and naps and go on its own adventures, heck, it might be comfortable just staying in Dreamland as an apprentice and partner of Kirby. Just because a new Kirby is born, doesn’t mean the old one has to leave, perhaps Meta Knight might even be the previous version of Kirby, in an endless cycle of death and rebirth. The Kirby we know and love is here to stay!

I want the next Kirby game to be a legitimate RPG. One where you can decide the fate of Pop Star and Dreamland, and the main character is void. As it says, "will the scrolls describe a destroyer of worlds, or an ally to the stars?" I think it would be super cool.
Void is unironicly my favourite villain in gaming. Even if it's more of a force of nature villain rather than an actual character what it represents for the whole Kirby series and it's lore Is genius if you know the full story
This is perhaps the 4th time I've rewatched this amazing sequence and I'm now just noticing the one frame of Kirb?! All in all, with the amount of work and detail that went into this, it's worth having a 5th rewatch..!
Fun fact, when Void is doing attacks referencing other bosses, the background changes. That's why there is a constant background color change in the animation. It copies what Void actually does. I love this tidbit a lot because it shows how powerful the Void Arc (being Dream Land to Star Allies) was.
At the Void part, when Void calms down, he smiles of how he can be friends with Kirby again and not cause trouble. This kinda makes my heart sad a little.

I kinda feel bad for void. It's been fed with negative influence for the first part of it's new existence but now Kirby and friends are battling with it using the friend hearts, and it just looks so confused.
But the fact that when it's defeated it doesn't explode in to a cloud of negativity or whatever, but a bunch of stars fly out of it and it smiles like Kirby makes me feel like its made up it's mind.

gonna be honest, I have no clue how I did that. I didn't think I would be able to but I couldn't just Not do them. I think I had to really plan out how they were gonna work, if you look at them here they're actually a lot more simple than in the actual game and I think it's because the game uses some sort of procedural shader or something. It's about sixteen frames and each of the separate swirls are layered going inward, doing a very simple circular motion. I hope that makes sense!
This really shows how the people you're around affects you kirby is growing up with friends and is treated well while void termina was used for power it make you feel sorry for void

For more than trillion or quadrillion after the main timeliness where a pink hero takes flight and the knight raises the sword as the king swings his hammer and as the cute menacing spear wielding master fight and hopefully Void will come back as a friend...
After looking at the forgotten land soundtrack and not finding any green greens reference, i feel this is a goodbye to atleast the 2D KIRBY represented by the first song of the Game that started it all being represented more than ever in this Game, or maybe it's because is another dimension, idk

I love how in this song you can hear gameboy sounds and Void can switch between his Kirby and Dark Matter forms. Especially when taking into consideration how Void is basically god in the Kirby universe and he can reincarnate into an ultimate force of either happiness or despair
I think that basically what it means is that void termina is both kirby and/or dark matter. They both greatly resemble Void, and the end shows the backgrounds of the bossfight with Dark Matter, and then the Green Greens background. It's pretty creepy. Especially for a kirby game. But that's jsut a theory. A game theory! and everyone else probably thought that too. sorry if you did.

It feels unreal, like he's in a dream land, but void knows that he'll get to stay in this paradise for a while. As a last goodbye to the world he once roamed, he smiled, letting everyone know that he's finally ok. Void steps into his new home, and lays under a tree for a well deserved nap. And when Void wakes up? Hopefully...hopefully...hopefully... he'll be my friend.

In a fact I always thought VOID was just completely falled into madness how most soul boss ended like. And this is only reason why did he smiled when defeated,it wasn't getted his freedom. I can't believe this thing is related to kirby. Imagine the horrors that would be brought to dreamland if kirby ended up like void did. There would be no hero to stop nightmare from stealing dreams, dark matter would continue to spread, O2 would destroy ripple star, marx would take over popstar, magolor would get his hands on the master crown, queen sectonia would fall further into madness and let her kingdom fall into nothingness, and haltmann will complete his mechaization of the entire planet. It's a pretty grim reminder that if kirby wasn't influenced by positive energy, the entire universe would've been brought to it's knees.

I think I actually first got the idea to do something like this when I first listened to this song in full. anyone who has played this boss fight probably knows what I'm talking about when I say the music pretty much blew me away

It was a transcendent experience almost. Completely unexpected! So I wanted to make something that captured the feeling of listening to it for the first time, kinda. something that you could watch and go "Oh yeah, this is THE video for this song." I hope that doesn't sound vain, that's mainly what I was trying to achieve so it's up to you to determine if I reached that! I am very proud of how it came out. I first started working on this on... march 11th i think..? So that's less than two months of time I had to finish it. I actually got the idea to do the rest of the Green Greens collab while working on this! I honestly almost doubted if this was possible. but I did it!

Let me just say that I absolutely adore how Void switches to his Dark Matter forms when the Song of Supplication leitmotif plays in the song. It's almost as if the song itself is conflicted over what melody to choose, similar to how Void is conflicted between the matters of good and evil.

It's like the combination of all Kirby's bosses, the ambition of the magolor, the pride of sectonia, the madness of Marx, Haltman's disinterest, the evil of Nightmare, the sorrow of Drawcia and the pain of all of them and also of Zero and dark matter, and the part that I adore more. It is that deconstruction of Greens Greens, the most characteristic theme of Kirby, literally the most iconic theme of the entire franchise, since it is on a smaller scale, which seems darker, as if something had broken inside Void. I imagine this part as Void's childhood, like another Kirby, only that instead of growing up in the pink and beautiful world of Pop Star, he would have grown into a much darker and more evil variant (probably the another dimension of the DLC and the world of Amazing Mirror) in the end being consumed by evil and becoming In the Destroyer of Worlds it is now.
But as the game itself says, the next time it comes, it will be this time as an ally.

It revealed to us that each universe gets a preset amount of star warrior beings, either incarnating as a Kirby or Void, and in this game Kirby fights something of like 6 times greater power and only wins because he had his pals with him. But since there are a preset number of star warriors, people are assuming a new Kirby is gonna show up or were getting void 2 electric boogaloo.

I still think this boss in Star Allies is one of the most depressing yet uplifting Kirvy Bosses of all time. Hyness wanted to summon Void to destroy all worlds, but Void never truly wanted that. Void was a blank canvas, this is due to both black AND pink hearts being scattered across the galaxies. What would've happened if Hyness had gathered the pink ones instead?
I believe that if hyenas created a void termina heart out of kindness hearts, he would have created a new Kirby. This is a theory on how the original Kirby was created.

I have a theory: kirby is a species, probably born from an ancient void kirby that is now dead. Kirby was born from void, making him the most powerful kirby of everyone. Meta knight, galacta knight and others come close, but kirby just is the void of his dimension, making him powerful.
He is void infused with positive energy making him good and not evil.

Kirby can be seen as the main representative of a species that is named after him, but kirby is actually sub-species of dark matter, it may not seem obvious at first but these 4 signs show:
1. Dark matter have "orbs" that orbit their main, circular body, using them as arms to fight and hold items, very similar to Kirby's small arms and legs.
2. Void when he is defeated has a small face like kirby's, which is explained as the more positive energy a dark matter gains the more "kirby" like they will become, such as with gooey. and the less positive energy the more "demonic" they will become. such as miracle matter.
3. In the anime, kirby was stated as an evil being under N.M.E.'s control, who rejected their control and became a star warrior.
4. The current shadow Kirby design is that of kirby, but with see through skin and a black-hole like texture inside him, in other words... a *void.*
All of these facts lead me to believe that Kirby was once a dark matter but turned good..

Void's colors, the friend movement stars appearing when he "dies", his color, his knowledge about every boss Kirby has met (Kirby's memories), the chiptune part in his theme, being an "Astral Birth", as Kirby is astral too (Kirby of the Stars), and most importantly the artpiece "A farewell to Kirby" (Kirby goes off as there can't be two Kirbys, and thus is replaced by classic Kirby, a younger version who we even get to play as in KSA, confirming my theory even more!)
My only question is...what happened to everyone else? Dedede, Meta-Knight, Adeline, Magolor, and so on. How could everything start over when these guys still have memories of the Kirby THEY saw? Unless, Void's death erased their memories or just legit reset the entire universe, but I find that unlikely...

Multiple Kirby’s can exist at once. I mean, it’s heavily implied that Meta Knight and Kirby are the same species. Perhaps this new Kirb will find its own dreamland, its own little place to have picnics and naps and go on its own adventures, heck, it might be comfortable just staying in Dreamland as an apprentice and partner of Kirby. Just because a new Kirby is born, doesn’t mean the old one has to leave, perhaps Meta Knight might even be the previous version of Kirby, in an endless cycle of death and rebirth. The Kirby we know and love is here to stay!

I want the next Kirby game to be a legitimate RPG. One where you can decide the fate of Pop Star and Dreamland, and the main character is void. As it says, "will the scrolls describe a destroyer of worlds, or an ally to the stars?" I think it would be super cool.

Void is unironicly my favourite villain in gaming. Even if it's more of a force of nature villain rather than an actual character what it represents for the whole Kirby series and it's lore Is genius if you know the full story

Fun fact, when Void is doing attacks referencing other bosses, the background changes. That's why there is a constant background color change in the animation. It copies what Void actually does. I love this tidbit a lot because it shows how powerful the Void Arc (being Dream Land to Star Allies) was.

I like how at 2:58 when Void is doing the Mirror Attack that Dark Mind does it flips on its side so it looks like Dark Mind.

I kinda feel bad for void. It's been fed with negative influence for the first part of it's new existence but now Kirby and friends are battling with it using the friend hearts, and it just looks so confused.
But the fact that when it's defeated it doesn't explode in to a cloud of negativity or whatever, but a bunch of stars fly out of it and it smiles like Kirby makes me feel like its made up it's mind.

How did you animate the stripe-thingys? They're really impressive
gonna be honest, I have no clue how I did that. I didn't think I would be able to but I couldn't just Not do them. I think I had to really plan out how they were gonna work, if you look at them here they're actually a lot more simple than in the actual game and I think it's because the game uses some sort of procedural shader or something. It's about sixteen frames and each of the separate swirls are layered going inward, doing a very simple circular motion. I hope that makes sense!

This really shows how the people you're around affects you kirby is growing up with friends and is treated well while void termina was used for power it make you feel sorry for void

In Astarl birth void it shows you the endless suffering he had to experience. For more than trillion or quadrillion after the main timeliness where a pink hero takes flight and the knight raises the sword as the king swings his hammer and as the cute menacing spear wielding master fight and hopefully Void will come back as a friend...

After looking at the forgotten land soundtrack and not finding any green greens reference, i feel this is a goodbye to atleast the 2D KIRBY represented by the first song of the Game that started it all being represented more than ever in this Game, or maybe it's because is another dimension, idk

I love how in this song you can hear gameboy sounds and Void can switch between his Kirby and Dark Matter forms. Especially when taking into consideration how Void is basically god in the Kirby universe and he can reincarnate into an ultimate force of either happiness or despair

I think that basically what it means is that void termina is both kirby and/or dark matter. They both greatly resemble Void, and the end shows the backgrounds of the bossfight with Dark Matter, and then the Green Greens background. It's pretty creepy. Especially for a kirby game.
But that's jsut a theory. A game theory!
