Without doubt Wander Beyond made a big step out of the shadows in 2018. Personally I'm fine with them using flavourings, Jonny you massive purist.
North Brewing are going from strength to strength.
Vault City were a really find at BeaverEx.
I hear good things about Glasshouse (I've only had one beer from them) and Liquid Light.
I can see Whiplash blowing up (in the hip hop sense), their beers are great but maybe overlooked a bit.
I can see Left Handed Giant getting the acclaim they deserve. Fantastic beer but never really mentioned in the same breath as Verdant, Northern Monk, Cloudwater, Deya...

Def wanted to put Whiplash in but couldn't get hold of any (same with Glasshouse and Vault City!) LHG are an interesting one - I feel like they get a hell of a lot of love, maybe it's just down south?

    • @TheCraftBeerChannel

Indeed. I think as everyone adopts NEIPA quality has gone down but those dialling in recipes are getting better all the time. My worry is the classic styles arent being advanced.
