I love divergence plays but you must confirm the move. Most people don't learn enough about price action, let alone which indicators to combine to improve their trades. But short answer I love divergence and hidden divergence, helped me turn profitable!

Good morning Navin sir.Divergence didnt work yesterday in Bitcoin chart..At 22.00pm Indian time 13/12/21 a clear divergence is seen in 1min chart after a strong downtrend...As u explained it also broke the recent high after giving divergence but the trend didn't change and downtrend continued.what could be the reason sir?

hi, thanks for the free content, i appreciate it. one thing that keeps bugging me with regards to divergence trading is actually how long are we to stay in a trade - how big a move can we expect after spotting and successfully entering a divergence trade ... is it Fibonacci, a reverse divergence, a pattern or a reversal candle? what would you say?
I have made a lot of money with divergence and most of the trades were accurate. I wld say out of 20 trades 17 were good but danger 1 and 2 could kill your account 💯

as ur explaining about the new high like that stuff on 39:58 , can we use that with the help of zigzag pattern, like swing high swing low, as sometime it gets difficult to see with naked eye, but with zigzag we can identify easily, so can i use that.
I find that for intraday forex trend trading most important relevant (Guide)trend direction is ON 15 minute, 1h and 4h charts only-- For intraday trading weekly & monthly trends do not matter much(too far removed from intraday field of activity) & can be ignored. For simplicity sake if 15 minute ,1h & 4h trends are in the same direction, you have a trade set up in the same direction (one could fine tune entry 0n 5 minute charts). In general if daily candle be in the same direction for any trade it is better but not A must.--Sir, what do you have to say?Any modifications?

Yes, on those really high time frames there can be a bit less volatility so the highs and lows may be a bit less clear. But, should still be usuable on any time frame.

I watched the podcast AND this this morning, just came to my charts, saw divergence and i was like.....NAH RUBBERBANDMAN faster than the...... and i waited, and the indicator caught up and the divergence was FAKE! Thanks Navin!
As they say, 1. never use momemtum rsi in a trending market. As u have explained in video, thats its good for forex rather than stocks, bcse stocks runs in one way, but forex doesnt like that. so it means we have to use rsi in sideways type of market, if yes then how to identify if the market is sideways or trending. 2. They can give differnt reading on differnt timeframes. this is very big issue for me, as i enter on forex 1h if all rules matched for buy on rsi, then i go to htfs. but on daily it shows downtrend, on weekly it shows buy, on h4 it shows downtrend, so i got confuse to enter or not. so brother plz let me know, how to fix these 2 things.
The most important thing is to know which trend you want to follow, and don't look at too many higher timeframe. We actually discuss this in our Mastering Price Action 2.0 Program :)
I often see price staying level (like when price is in a trading range) but RSI making higher highs. Is this bullish divergence... I never see this type of divergence discussed?

use it on htf especially 4hr tf
We generally use a lot more price action along side Divergence. There could be multiple reasons for this :)
divergence on 1min TF is not working!! use higher timeframe.

just use these rsi, before market session London + NY gonna open, we see probes there mostly, and rsi works best that time., timinng is key.

I would say that those timeframes are definitely ones to look at for intraday. But it is also good to be aware of the higher time frames as well.

I do understand that when divergent in play that means market will reverse. But my question is. Is it short term or long term reversal?
It depends on the context.

what if 5 m chart clearly shows divergence but 15m chart dont.
Generally you would look for the divergence on your normal trading time frame. Whatever that time frame may be.
default setting for the RSI is 14...I suggest you guys change it to 6. You are welcome!
