@MrTRAce-by1sv you shouldn't use those style valves! Compression valves allow for quick change outs so no need for the extra length flopping around potentially causing another issue.
@@regankaldahl8496 it looks bad and if you need to replace the valve you need a crimping tool which can be a pain for a homeowner who does not need a whole tool.

I love my copper plumbing from when I built my house 25+ years ago. When I’m in the basement I marvel at the quality work done by my plumber Todd Pollo, now retired. I think I’d like to try Pex for some DIY projects I’ve been envisioning.
I love everything you do. But, why are they both clear instead of red and blue? And being on top, instead of beside each other, how do we know hot and cold?
This doesn't look like the right way to do it. The connection between the valve and the Pex looks very loose? How do you tighten it so water doesn't leak out???
Let this old lady give yall a little advice on putting in shower/bathtub faucets. Cut a square section out of your wall where the water pipes are for your shower/tub. So that if & when you get a water leak in your pipes, or want to change out your faucets, its a lot easier! I made a little hinged door for my opening so it still looks good. I also put shutoff values on both the cold water & hot water where my opening is. One time I was gone for several months, my tub faucet started dripping, my stopper was closed & it fluded my house! Now when I leave, I drain all of my pipes, and turn the valves off to my faucets & toilet. I can't flip my breaker off because the guy who leases my cattle pens needs water for them
Pex is great and definitely has its place but I always stub out of the wall with well secured copper and solder on chrome valves. No pipe exposed on the finish, just chrome.
You know they make chrome eschteon plates that open up and close to be put around existing pipes for this very reason so you don't have to go through all this unnecessary work.
I’m not a plumber but I’ve done some plumbing work and when I see this in people’s homes even I think it’s hack. A lot of people do this and I’ve seen it a lot. idk I may be wrong but I’m cutting the wall and securing stub outs in copper.
Just don’t use cpvc only in pedestal sink wall and keep rest of house copper unless you want to sabotage plumber years down the road who change those valves because you threaded hard pipe into cpvc female adapters inside the wall! 😅 oh and used regular primer and glue on cpvc lol. You know who you are!
To the people saying only hacks stub out pex… 🤣 stfu your guaranteed not plumbers… The better thing to do when stubbing out pex for angle stops is provide a brass male adapter by pex with an IP style stop so in the future changing the stop will easy peasy and we all know nothings built to last anymore so stops will have to be replaced.
@@zak4tt4ck Get a clue keyboard warrior, you have no idea how busy us plumbers are now a days with the newer soft azz lazy generations not wanting to jump into any trades. Yes, your brass idea is the better option if your going to stick pex out of the wall like this, but, unless your going to use something around the pipe to keep the pipe for moving around, especially when swapping out a valve, you should not stub pex out of the wall. Looks cleaner if you get the chrome sleeve over the pipe
I've never seen this system up close before, but I'm really eager to work with it. It seems very interesting to me.
Bella idea ❤❤❤❤
Nice electrical job
Thanks for making the cabinet guys job a lot harder. That gets done after I install the cabinet.
Love the Casio!
What tool is that
I actually think pex is pretty rad, but I would put a copper stub out that you can attach your pex to inside the wall. So much sturdier.
Code by me to do just as you've described.

crimp male adapters on then screw valves on, I hate when people stub out with pex.
