For those who don’t know, the difference between a high bar and low bar squat is the bar placement on the back. The high bar squat is thought to be a more quad dominated movement whereas the low bar is thought to include the lower back and glutes more. The low bar squat is also what 99% of power lifters will use in competition because most lifters will have better numbers with a low bar squat than a high bar squat.
For wrist placement on low bar, I use a false grip (no thumbs around) and stack the bar right over the radius and ulna. Using fingers to keep the bar from rolling, and pulling elbows towards each other behind my back, to keep the shelf tight. That way my wrists have no pressure on them
Wide grip for more reps helps with balance. Low bar stance with grip just outside shoulder with, and before you lift the weight up you turn your elbows in and you dont even feel like you are gripping the bar. That should help with your wrist.
Flexibility for most of us. He deadlifts a lot so his overall grip,wrists outta be trained by this point but mobility is different. My wrists hurt even with a 20kg front squat if i do the unwraped version aka the normal way to do it due to mobility. But once i put wraps on to hold the bar i can normally train. AlanThrall has a video about it.
Mr T1 if u read this maybe try a wider grip to make it lighter on your wrists. Just remember that if you use a wider grip it might be harder to create tension to make the shelf on the rear delts for the bar.

T1, If you're finding low bar squat easy, you may be leaning forward too much, which activates more of your extensor back muscles instead of your quads, im no expert here, love the streams :)

To remove wrist pain, try to put your thumb over the bar and externaly rotate your hands so the bar is on your palm.

Low bar and high bar definitely makes a big difference. Especially since you're pushing your hips back first.
The wrist issue can be attributed to lat mobility issues. Squat University has covered it before on his Instagram page
