I am a kpop fan for many years... even before BTS is out... all I have to say is i am not an anti but i feel like commenting another group of people in ryan's video is not respectful to ryan's work. For people that are still complaining about how they only click on this video cause they thought it is BTS the kpop group, I have no idea why you even have to comment at all... what do you even gain to tell the whole world you are Army?? In people mindsets ARMY is the worst fandom now, if someone says anything related to BTS, it's immediately considered annoying, if it was other Kpop artists, would people still be this easily triggered? I know ARMY can be annoying, but not in this case.
Almost all the top comments are about BTS, and this isn't the only video. If armys don't want to be called annoying, then maybe they should stop being annoying. Just because he mentioned them in the past, doesn't mean he wants his comment sections to be filled with it. He actually said a lot of times things like "BTS stands for Behind the scenes, people!" and "We should stop talking about K-pop here or the whole comment section will be filled with this", so I guess it's even starting to annoy him. And to answer your question, if other fandoms spammed with unrelated stuff, then yes, they would receive just as much hate. There's also the phandom for example, they have received a lot of backlash aswell. Every fandom receives hate if they bring their fandom up everywhere where it's not needed all over youtube, Ryan's fandom would aswell.
