From the time that that trauma happened when his mother died, until he met Megan, and all those years he could’ve gotten in therapy for grieving and therapy for trauma. Many many people have had worse situations, and they get themselves to work every day and they don’t make pitiful decisions like he does.

Yes they said it was racism, yes they continued this avenue even saying the British were racist. They accepted an award for it, which they prepared for, Harry loving every minute, grinning from ear to ear, loving the cameras and limelight. Absolutely! Boys walking behind the coffin has been a media narrative for years. I remember it when he was in trouble over costumes and hitting reporters, etc. I don't doubt his mother's death was a huge trauma. But I think there's an element of using it to excuse his behaviour and manipulate public opinion. I don't think it's acceptable to this degree after 25 years.

My daughter is very fair with blue eyes and her husband has brown eyes, darker skin and dark hair so both of our families commented on what their babies colouring might look like..We found it exciting to speculate on what the baby might look like. The story of his loss. Harry was asked if he wanted to walk behind his mother's coffin. Harry said no. When he realized his brother was going to do so, he changed his mind. Over the 25 years since then he has constantly brought out his story of trauma whenever he has been called out on anything. The British media and the British public have continually excused his acts and words. So thoroughy had they identified with his trauma and loss that many would say "Oh, that's true", when reminded that Prince William also lost his mother and walked behind that coffin. Harry was a few days away from his 13th birthday. Willam had just turned 15.

I got the impression only from what Meghan and Harry said in the Oprah interview, not the press or social media, that they were saying that someone in the Royal family had a concern about the colour of the baby's skin. That seemed confirmed to me to be true, that yes that was what they had meant, when Harry and Meghan accepted an award for highlighting racism within the Royal Family as there were no other such incidents I recalled them making.

Harry and Meghan may not have actually said the word “racist” in the Oprah interview however they implied it and they let the idea float about in the media since then. Why exactly is it racist to wonder what appearance a baby might have? Doesn’t every parent wonder what a child might look like? Even a couple of the same background and ethnicity may wonder aloud whether their expected offspring might take after the mother more than the father; is that bigoted in any way? I certainly wondered before my children were born whether they’d look more like me or like their mother; was that racist of me?

at 7:12 I completely agree with her point that people can say things out of ignorance and not be racist. In college I was having a conversation with a bi-racial acquaintance and told her that my own cousins were "mulatto." She was very gracious and explained to me that the term was actually offensive and told me the actual definition. I was horrified and didn't use the term ever again, but to make the point, I was also ignorant. (Also I only saw my cousins maybe once every four years and race was never a topic of conversation, nor was it for me much at all until BLM, Obama and the likes of Meghan Markle.)
