- For the second time, we have a go at reviewing the Quick Tracks for the Chieftain tank. This time with huge success.
Get them here.. quickwheelstore.com
The nut holds on the pad. In times of war the rubber pads would be removed for better traction. Keep up the good work Nigel.
The bolt you mention held on the rubber pad, same with the 432. They look really nice.
Glad to hear you talked to them about the issues you were having, and gave them a chance. Sounds like they've earned their great reputation. No company is perfect, and neither are we. It's all about how we respond to the problems and if a company can correct things.
Now I'm really bouncing with anticipation to see the Berlin Tank project getting finished. Thanks for all you do Nigel. ☕🐢
100% perfectly said!!!
Hi Nigel, Thanks for the review. They look like really nice tracks. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
Brilliant product and a godsend to armour modellers. I’m going to their webstore to see if they have tracks for a Panther project I’m planning, a Tiger, as well as Pz IIIs and IVs. 🤞🏻Many thanks (tanks? 😆) for the heads up on these Nige.
I built their Tiger I tracks for my RFM Tiger I Late and I know they have tracks for the Panther Ausf G, which I'll order once I start building mine.
hi nige thankyou for your review im going to order my tracks from them now and wheel mask . missed you the past week yes it has been very warm indeed hope jess is doing fine . Malcolm from Reading
Hi Nigel, tneh really look like great tracks, I may have to try and get a few sets to suit some of the kits I have, I do have the AFV IDF Centurion, and also a Aussie Centurion, many thanks for sharing this video, bedt regards from a Kiwi living in Australia 👌👍👌👍
All's well that ends well! Looking forward to seeing closeups of the finished model tracks look great 👍🏻
The swedish strv 104 is also an upgraded centurion.
Amusing hobby make the kit in 1/35, and look quite nice vith the tipical edgy 4 color camo.
Haha I JUST bought some of these over the weekend!!! Still waiting on them to come in, so this is a great little look at the product!
Hope you enjoy it!
@@NigelsModellingBench Me too! xD
Dear Nigel,
It's good to see the resolution to this story- the assembly looks very straightforward and the finished products look properly flexible too. I like the way you dealt with this- very nicely done.
Kind regards,
Z
Glad you enjoyed it
Glad to see the Chieftain getting back on the bench, hopefully with the cooler weather you can get some paint on the other projects now.
I hope so too
Thank you so much of for this video, tracks can be very time consuming l did some after sales tracks for a German Halftrack l think they were by AK but they seem to take forever and that was the first time and l had to glue them but these are the perfect solution 👍
The Olifant is the South African version Nige. My local hobbyshop has a kit, can't remember manufacturer, but a ver nice kit in 35th...just outa my budget right now though😢😢😢
That'll explain why i had a video in Watch Later that disappeared....
We’re you trying to think of the Magach which was based on the Patton?
This is a huge difference to your last video Nigel a huge improvement
Sincerest apologies Nigel for getting your name wrong that's what happens when I try to do two or three things at the one time once again I'm so very sorry, my bad😢
are the cromwell tracks 15 inch if so they fit challenger and comet as well
They are .3875" so no Steve, they scale up to under 14"
On the back of your video, I bought the Challenger 1 set to replace Tamiya rubber band ones. I am so disappointed... I have assembled 20 links so far and have already 8 are broken 😢. I have used the technique you showed but still having the same issue.
Sorry to hear that. I thought they would send me a sample of those. Maybe this is why? Have you contacted them about this?
Nige, The 'contact us' link on their website is broken, I just get an error message. I was really looking forward to these as I normally use metal tracks.
Can I ask who makes the drill bit set you're using please Nigel?
They're just some cheap junk off Amazon.
So they're not brittle then like most resin parts when it's not very warm?
Not at all
Nice products, can you tell me where thier from ,can only find a company from America
I put a link in the description below. They are in Poland.
They look the business, but any idea how much is it going to add to the cost of the kit
You'd have to check with your local stockist
More must have stuff, argh…
