@Scarrell yeah bet, i have 3 TPA3255's in my current indoor setup consisting of 2 10" subs (ds18 and rockford fosgate) and some custom made bookshelfs and they absolutely slam, the subs can certainly use a lot more power but my broke-ass cannot afford anything much better 😂
Speaking of the 3255. I dunno if it's possible, because I'm not smart enough, but I am dumb enough to do it lmao. But I'm thinking about taking one of my spare ht21 amps and removing the 7498 chip on the stereo channels and putting a 3255 chip in its place for the stereo channels. So tda7498 on the sub still and then 3255 chip on the stereo channels IN a ht21. Would be a Frankenstein amp but if the pin lay out is the same, then I think it may be possible? Lol just a high thought
I'm just using bare speaker wire in the terminals. I'm not sure of any terminals that would fit in the tiny terminal blocks unfortunately, otherwise I would. I don't think small wire ferrules would even work, but not sure.
@scarr3ll Thanks, ill probably use the smallest fork terminal and bend it to fit or just cut-off one of the sides of the fork/y-type terminal so that it will fit 😅
Im wondering if this will work. I can wire all the speakers to the amp, use a 3.5mm to RCA cable to get signal from the head unit and use a relay on the Ignition power wire to turn on 12v to the amp to only run when ignition is on and use this amp to power the speakers but use my head unit
Hmm I'm not sure. What's your goal by keeping the deck? I think the main problem, if it works, will be controlling the volume and keeping the signal clip/distortion free.
@@scarr3ll I think the pre amp signal still controls volume so I could just set the head unit to max and then adjust the amp to the loudest that sounds good then I could use the Headunit to control volume
I've had both of them built me and my son big bluetooth speakers with them. I honestly think you must have got a bad as21 cause mine pushes my set up way harder than the ht21 did. I've been using a 36v hoverboard battery for mine and it drives it hard and lasts about 8 hours at half volume. The one I built my son that has the ht21 is ran the same way and doesnt hit as hard or deep same battery. So I honestly think you eithe got a knock off or something is wrong with it.
I like the Temp Look 👀
This is probably how my setup would look like 🤣🤣 i am too broke to afford a proper amp
Lmao man, it's the most ghetto-ist but "legit" thing I've ever done lol. It sounds killer for what it is

Got my HT21 also. Powerful mini amplifier.
What kind of terminal lugs did you use in speaker terminal?
What size did you use?

2ohms?
Yes it runs operates fine at 2ohms on all channels
bro its ok to connect 36V/5A only to ZKHT21 ????? Please Help my problem
Yes that is fine. Just don't crank the bass or volume too much.
@@scarr3ll oh thank You bro

My as21 kicks harder than my old ht21. But it's always plug in on a server psu. How many amps is your hoverboard battery?
Hey got an ht21 on the way. Do u recon it will run nicely running off a 36v hoverboard battery?
Should be fine
@@scarr3ll it should play at its best right being 36v
