The Elefant was not really dancing. When Elefants do that movement left to right it shows that they were held captive and chained to a wall or floor with little or almost no possibility to move around. It shows a psychological illness that came from a bad treatment through humans. It most likely is a rescued Elefant.and it sure has a nice live now.
Yes these elephants were rescued and are now given a much better life. The older elephants were rescued from the logging industry. We were there for more than 24 hours with the elephants and saw how well they were treated and how much better of a life now they have after being rescued

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that in the future we will be at peace with all animals here on earth (including predatory animals). Imagine hanging out with wild cats or sharks all day safely. This is what your elephant experience reminds me of. As humans we have such a draw to animals and taking care of them and just enjoying their company. 💕 🐘
An exciting and fun adventure indeed. As one parent to another please be cautious with what you expose your children to in terms of potential for danger. I was at one of these camps with a friend. She tripped on the uneven ground and ran to catch her balance as a normal reaction. An elephant responded to her quick movements and chased after her. She fell either being pushed by the elephant or losing her footing. The elephant actually kneeled down over her pressing down with the trunk on her body. Trainers got the elephant away but she had a broken collar bone. So we got to tour the local hospital after that. We all know animals can present dangers and the elephants size, weight, strength just compounds it. Its one thing for us as adults to take on these risks, its another to expose our children. Thankful this turned out to be a lovely adventure for you.
The elephants did seem a bit overwhelming to me, I didnt like the way the elephant snapped off the small tree impatiently when the bananas werent coming fast enough
