I hear some Erutan in the background. "Fly straight and true o' my arrow~" Anyways, came here to learn a but more about Gladiator since they're a bit of a rarity in the game right now. Nice to get a vague understanding of each class since I like to PvP and you neeever knoow~
Evasion Slash is just such a good skill! Fast casting time, high damage, has , and can cancel most of your other skills if you need to quickly tumble away. For sure damage plate +20% :3
The invincibility state of infinity edge is so freaking useful, saved me a lot of times in DDN HC with the fire prision, i dont know if IE works with the RSBreath.
Kazu, I wanna ask about gear build, before we get DDN weapon, which one is better, go with 2 full moon weapon to complete the 7 set bonus, or use 2 Savior weapon?
Hi kazu, i'm just wondering how could you even raise your crit till max cap without using fatal jades? do wind jades help a lot on covering my crit lost?
Both Light and Dark are viable but I think Gladiator will fit more for light since the revamp for blessing of light, light resist to consecration, mindbreaker EX has been implemented. I'll be attempting to do a light party set up showcase video soon. But having a Inquisitor, Crusader/Guardian for Blessing of Light, Conviction Aura and light debuffs will give you slightly varied class compositions for raids in the case of dark vs light party etc. I think ultimately, it depends on who you are playing with, if they are dark party based then go for dark, if not light is viable as well.
The problem on using ECJ is that, it is highly dependent on the party setup. But other than that, it has better damage potential than going pure..or so I've heard anyway. I guess I'll just go for pure, since I don't want to get restricted when I'm partying with others. There's so much decision to make!! >.
I started using same skills and plates at 60 cap on dneu, with exception of side kick, I dont think its useful anywhere in pve. Now I see I will miss a few skill points on cap 70 :c I hated when I ran out of mp on 60 nests when I started, so I went for mp regen plate and mp regen passive skill from weapon. Now I cannot run out of mp and I love it, i dont know how I'll deal with 70cap mp.
Jas Persa nope, ulti is way too weak for any plate at all, even at 2.7k%~ with so much cooldown its barely worth using when all other skills are on cd, only the utility of this skill - brief invincibility is cool, i liked to use it in edn when kalahan used black holes and i couldnt get away, with ulti its very easy :) of course you can evade many more attacks with that, but usually tumble is just enough.
I couldn't find the earrings or necklace he was wearing from the shop. I got manticore whirlwind plate as a drop should I use it? No1 sells it so I have no idea what it's worth
Jas Persa are you sure that you are on 70 cap server? or maybe use different filters in trading house. there is also possibility that only a few people are still crafting/doing aon, so the amount of 70 cap jewelry is limited. manti whirlwind is decent in pvp, in pve only for combo achievements. in the end, special skill is mostly for utility(sa breaking, good combos, special effects like burn/freeze/poison etc etc.), unless it has some wicked 2-3k% dmg with quick cast.
DarkTemplar277 Im still only lvl 58 and i play the EU version but im still trying to get some stuff that will boost my stats and skills, you could use skill heraldrys from lvl 1 already so why not buy them at lvl 58 as they are pretty cheap.
Is Hacking Stance plate really worth it ? I have Triple Slash plate and i'm wondering if Hacking Stance plate is good since it give only 20% "Physical Attack Strenght use rate " ?
as mentioned in the vid, its a must have plate if you have Lv15+1 hacking stance, and not really worth if you just have Lv11 should you have other more important plate options. Triple Slash wise I don't think it is a must have plate for Gladiators because as I mentioned, it is commonly used to gather up your first 10 stacks in nests/raids during the early portion of boss fights and when you lose your stacks. The idea is put the 20% DMG plate on skills you know you will use after you hit above 4 stacks (25% DMG inc.) as you want to put out more damage with those skills instead of the ones you use earlier. Reason behind 4 stacks for me is because the previous passive gave you a 20% patk increase so if you want skills to function better than what they were before the changes, using them past 4 stacks or at least 3 will be more effective though obviously you want to utilize them with 10 stacks of physical mastery buff whenever you can.
Till Eternity Gaming Oh I see, well atm i'm playing on DN EU so still 60 Cap so it's not worth buy it now, but i will when 70 Cap :) Thanks for the reply, great vids as always and keep on the good work :D
PinkyFish Gaming Im from dn eu too, im using skill ring and dmg plate for hacking stance, and ill tell ya its freaking nice dmg, 37hits without spirit boost (w/ its 50+) and with ice 400-700k per hit with my physical attak depending on pt buffs, in ddn raids ive done over million dmg per hit with all the extra dmg buffs (dance, etc) so i think its a must have for me its the biggest dmg skill atm
I don't know the gold I'm about to share with you is going to help because inflation/economy is different from server to server. I didn't record how much I've spent either, but its definitely within the realms of the semi-casual player to be able to earn this over-time. Just Pure PATK-Critical build here with respective accessories to maximize PATK as well as skill accessories for specific skills to increase their effectiveness and damage.
I am a moonlord on NA server. I heard black dragon nest is coming out next month- and since we lost dark conversion i am trying to acquire a desert dragon lgrade sword and gauntlet. However, i do no think i can afford to enhance/spark legendary equipment as well as finish acquiring quality dragon gems. Would 35k mdmg, 16k int, 1007 fd, and 650k hp be enough to clear ( provided i follow mechanics but still take a few hits ). I can raise my hp and intellect by a lot though as i still have some very low intellect and hp dragon gems equipped.
You wouldn't be able to take a few hits with only 650,000HP. Even with 910k HP with my moonlord right now, and 47-50% PDEF/MDEF currently, I can get killed in 2-3 hits (depending on which stage/boss) with priest protection shell buff etc. This is excluding the 1-shot mechanics by the way. But seeing that you still have low hp dragon gems/jade equipped you should be able to reach at least 750k HP which is what I feel is the minimum for BDN for the average player and teams.
There will be the introduction of Critical Damage STAT which is affected by STR/INT. Once you hit the critical cap, focus the rest of your stats on PATK or STR. If you want higher Crit DMG Stats in future, go for mostly STR since STR give you patk as well.
i dont understand how you got 10 stacks of passive ? i mean you dont have 10 buffs if i remember well it say give 6% dmg per buff up to 10 stacks but i dont see you to buff your self you just hit whit normal attack?
DPS wise after ML revamp, Glads get diminshed when in comparison with them. Tho ML's are somewhat more expensive to gear. Whether they're fast or not totally depends on your playstyle, just choose w/e you feel like playing.
Well to be honest with you- i would pick gladiator. I class changed my lunar knight to a gladiator 2 days ago- and i have no regrets. In order to play a fast class via moonlord, you need to go out of your way. A good moonlord uses skills like impact wave, moonlight splitter, and/or eclipse when waiting for major skill cd. But this is EXTREMELY boring. I personally go out of my way. I use line drive, front shove, triple slash, and eclipse to have some more fun. But this is costly. Alone it is fine, but in raids or nests it is ineffective. Moonlords are fast, yes, but glads are 3x faster. A moonlord can be played without speed- you can literally just run away, then in a 7 second window use luring slice and shout + cyclone to deal massive dmg- then just kite again. It gets monotonous. Gladiator however, allows for much more experimentation. Try new combos with evasion slash, rotate camera for dramatic effect, etc. Speed is required. On top of this, it makes everything much more fun because it is more dangerous. moonlords require pvp skill builds to be used properly. Gladiators however, are naturally good at pve. That said, gladiators also benefit from pvp builds- but they do not require them. In order to decide, prioritize one attribute. Speed, or damage? If you picked speed, then go for gladiator, if damage, then go for moonlord. But ultimately it depends upon how much gold you are willing to put in. A gladiator can have damage if you gear them more. Cohesively, moonlords can be fast if you use them in such a way. If you cannot choose- then compromise. Make a moonlord, but use them with speed and buy a dual skill scroll. That was my logic when i was a moonlord.
I hear some Erutan in the background. "Fly straight and true o' my arrow~"

thank you for this video! I've been waiting so long for a glad guide!

Is the background music the actual saints haven bgm for dn sea? I know you guys have Erutan music for carderock pass >_< jelly...
where written guide link
for Gladiator lv 70 ?
Kazu, I wanna ask about gear build, before we get DDN weapon, which one is better, go with 2 full moon weapon to complete the 7 set bonus, or use 2 Savior weapon?
then i think no use having circle break at max level
beatiful played :)
Hi kazu, i'm just wondering how could you even raise your crit till max cap without using fatal jades? do wind jades help a lot on covering my crit lost?
Are you doing any Abysswalker vids?
What i hate about gladiators passive is keeping the atk stack alive. 5 secs is way to short for me, it needs to updated to 10secs or more.
Will you being doing a similar build video for moonlords as well?
My apologies, I found the video that you made regarding the subject!
Can you upload your gladiator pvp skill build please? :)
sir kazu whats the name of music 14:00 the ending part
Kazu do you have any seleana skill build ?
Can anyone please explain why didn't he get parry stance? seems like a good skill for PvE or am i wrong?
can u show me or us hybrid build for gladiator?
is a light gladiator better than a normal glad?
What about your talismans?
is a pve or hybrid build? i want to try him in pve and pvp but i havent decent builds for try can you share with us please :(
Kazu, do you think making a Dark/Light Gladiator worth it? Currently, I have a DECJ and I'm thinking of using it on a gladiator.

approximately how much gold would the equips and plates cost if i were to buy the whole set?

Is this PvE, PvP or hybrid? Can you do PvP guide for Glad, even just on your website? Also, why didn't you get moonlightsplitter?
Pure PVE which is why there's no MLS. I'll do another vid on PVP I guess :)
i dont understand how you got 10 stacks of passive ? i mean you dont have 10 buffs if i remember well it say give 6% dmg per buff up to 10 stacks but i dont see you to buff your self you just hit whit normal attack?
Every physical atk hit generates 1 stack, no buffs required, it works like a passive buff.
Till Eternity Gaming Should I get a gladiator or moonlord? Cause I want a fast class thats good for pvp/pve with good damage :/
DPS wise after ML revamp, Glads get diminshed when in comparison with them. Tho ML's are somewhat more expensive to gear. Whether they're fast or not totally depends on your playstyle, just choose w/e you feel like playing.
