So glad you reacted to this! I saw this a while back and was totally floored; dearly love the original as well. couldn't understand why almost no reactors picked up on it. sipping a glass of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and toasting you!
I still wholeheartedly endorse adding to your list Jacob’s version of “Moon River” as well as what I assume will be his next grammy winner, “Bridge Over Troubled Water”, consisting of 3 videos with this order: the studio version, his video of recording Tori Kelly’s part, the live version from the L.A. Forum
@@thage7729 Unfortunately, or fortunately for me I have already seen most of those. The only one I'm yet to watch is the live version from L.A. So I'll add that to my list. Thanks for the comment.
Yes! A f*cking genius indeed! The same day, he recorded “Summer Rain” with Chris Thile and Madison Cunningham, another masterpiece. Don’t miss it! Thanks for this.
nice. heiðrikur á heygum made a whole album with björk covers, also his own material is phenomenal. flowers on your grave to name one song. he is a musician, artist and film maker from the faroe islands, he directed amongst others the music video for í tokuni you reacted to very recently. he also directed music videos for brimheim, another band from the faroes
@@soleywolfgangsdottir Hey. I just recorded some reactions and tried to find your recommendation but I was struggling. Could you maybe send me a link to your favourite song from his own material?
You asked for other artists to review. You can start with many that Jacob has collaborated which includes: Snarky Puppy, Laughey, Yebba, Tori Kelly, Lawrence the Band, Take 6, Jonah Nelson from Dirty Loops (that band), Dodie, Chris Thile (another genuine prodigy), Daniel Cesar, Saje. Or 2nd tier: Madison Cunningham, Kimbra, Emily King. I'd also consider Raye and Luca Sestak if you like jazzy. Also Sexto Sentido. Oh! Also Willow! Her latest album is maybe the best I've heard lately with every song being good. That doesn't happen often outside of Stevie Wonder and Steely Dan's Aja.
@@bryanleggo3489 I'm familiar with a lot of the artists you mentioned. Love Snarky Puppy, Dodie and Yebba. And I agree, Willow's new album is something else. You've given me plenty there to get my teeth into 👍🏻

I second the suggestion to listen to "Summer Rain".
Enjoy the phenomenal experience of watching Jacob's live performance of "Don't You Know" with Snarky Puppy band. You're welcome 😊
@@ibeetellingya5683 I need to check that out. Snarky Puppy are something else.

@thevikingbuddha and brimheim, poison fizzing on a tongue music video or into the ooze music video.
