Guys! What happens, if i fly my tello out of the window from the 4th floor, wich is above 10m (about 15 meters)? Will it sink down to the maximum of 10 meters or can i fly it back to my room threw the window? Thanks for the answers.
Vasisawesome yeah that goes well because the limit is 10 meters.. so if the 3rd floor in your house is at about 8 meters, no worries at all. But my question and problem is that i live higher than the limit. If u use the app it says like u are at 6.7 meters higg eith the tello, but what if i fly it out of the window at 13 meters? Will it drop to the 10 meters limit and therefor i cant fly my tello back? 😀
Silly people... the altitude limit is with respect to where you took off from, NOT if you suddenly go out a balcony window. VPS would be affected, but it wouldn't emergency land 50 floors down on the street. Geeze....
First of all the parrot Bebop 1 without the sky controller still retails at $200 anywhere on the internet unless you buy it refurbished. With the sky controller is an additional 200 so the parrot Bebop one with the skycontroller is 400 retail you can probably get it for three hundred and something if you look around. But the parrot Bebop 1 flying with the app only has a limited Wi-Fi range according to whatever device you're flying it with phone or tablet. You'll be lucky if you get 300M. You need this sky controller.
I got a Bebop 1 online for $169. The controller was $93. I'm comparing the Tello to the Bebop 1 because they're the same price. Both the Tello and Bebop don't come with a controller but have it as an option you can purchase separately so I figured the Bebop 1 is the nearest comparison. PS. The Bebop controller its pretty chunky so if you don't want to carry that around, I've seen people use Wi-Fi range extenders to get more range. I don't know why cars would be putting out that much magnetic interference but it's definitely a possibility. I seem to get about the same connection results anywhere I tried it though. EDIT: You're right, the cars do cause some interference.
Hey mate! I just tried what u have done.. night flight.. tello will auto land as vps and its vision is not clear and thus u have difficulties in retrieving it back.. I had a hard time pulling it back but lucky I was on ground floor.. I tried flying off from my balcony at day time but it switches to manual mode (no altitude hold or gps hold) and I managed to pull it back easily while flying around. remember to set to fast mode and try not to fly at night if u going to get a second tello.. :)

Good review. Mine left town too. My phone was too washed out from the sun to give any useful info.. as it caught an air current and just left. :(
Mine almost got taken away but I hit the landing button just in time for it to barely be stopped by my fence and avoid the road

ig bugayson yeah but it weighs over 162g. The only reason I got the Tello was because of the weight.

Not close enough... you would have to be within 3-feet.
And I know you're just starting out but if you want to build an audience you got to lay off the f-bombs just my advice
