Hey man was this taken on the Nikon D5500? I am thinking about getting this camera for videoing surfing. Since you have it and you take videos of people surfing should I get it? What lens should I get because at some cases I will be at distances. Finally someone using it for what i am looking for :)

imjustanatural884 yes it was - you can buy d5300 or d5500, your videos will be the same quality. Make sure you buy it with the 18-140mm kit lens - all the other kit lenses are not as good as this one. But even 140mm are sometimes not enough. Not sure if they have a kit with a 55-200mm lens - if they have i would still buy the 18-140mm.
