Alaric being into Caroline was so weird. They could move just made it so that Caroline and Alaric were in a relationship “on paper” but didn’t actually love each other. Then Alaric’s conflict with Stefan could be because he’s afraid that if Stefan and Caroline get back together, his kids would go without a mother and he doesn’t know how to raise them without her. Less creepy.

So the makers incorporated some scenes which showed us that Candice King and Michael Malarkey are talented in the music department, but not a single scene which showed that Kat Graham too has amazing talent in music!!?? Wow.
When i think of ALL THE HISTORY between Stefan and Alarik it's absolutely crazy to think this is what it has come to, straight up fighting over Caroline of anyone, Rik and Caroline what the hell were they thinking....
Kat Graham is probably my favourite actress from tvd, followed by candice. I think she was so mistreated and it’s shocking to think that this was her first real dancing with a boyfriend scene , I swear the only other time was with Silas pretending to be jeremy. But we saw these with Caroline and Elena in like season 1/3.
I love it when you not only comment on the storyline and characters but also on the acting of the actors, I don't know why but it makes me feel really good. They've all done such amazing praise-worthy jobs with their parts. Every episode we get to see someone's noteworthy performance for a particular scene.
Fun fact: in the TVD books, Bonnie is a descendent of Celtic Druids. Stefan refers to this in the first season. Her actual last name in the books is McCullough, also.

i wasnt looking during the "laying in the grass, looking up at the stars, with somebody kissing my neck" part and ive watched this show over so many times i was like "wait isnt this when one of the stone vamps are going ham like they skipped breakfast?" and im so glad it was bc the laugh it gave me omg
Elena and the Reyna couldn't have been doppelgangers if Nina stayed. In season 5 the travellers made sure Elena and Stefan were the last doppelgangers alive. And I doubt there could be any more in the future because the reason nature created the doppelgangers was because Silas and Amara couldn't die but now they are dead so there is no reason for nature to create that balance. Also, the Huntress and the Hunters are completely different supernatural beings so Jeremy being a hunter and Elena having the huntress as a doppelganger would have been a coincidence.
Actually they didn’t kill Tom so Elena and Stefan could be the only doppelgängers. They killed him so that Stefan could be the LAST doppelgänger of his line. Elena was the last of hers and killing Tom made Stefan the last of his. They described the last pair being “special”

I like Bonnie and Enzo as a couple. You can see that they make each other happy, and if Bonnie’s happy that’s all that matters. I think they’re good together, Bonnie really brings out a different side to Enzo, I feel like she is what he needed and was always looking for. I just am not as crazy about shipping them as I am with Delena or even Steroline. I think they did a good job in showing their development in flashbacks and it worked. I just preferred the seasons upon seasons worth of development that Delena and Steroline got personally.
Agreed about Damon not being able to save Enzo because of the vervain. Till this day I haven’t seen someone mention or acknowledge that, which is super weird.. it’s like people want to pretend that little detail is even there..
Damon’s going to have to work his ass off to get Bonnie to forgive him, lol. He’s willing to do it though, he cares about her too much to give up. It’s clear that she still doesn’t know that Damon left to protect her. It wouldn’t make it hurt any less, but at least she would know that it isn’t because he doesn’t care about her. Rick also doesn’t understand that Stefan left to protect Caroline. I liked seeing Damon, Enzo and Bonnie work together this episode though. They’re a good team, even if they aren’t getting along right now. It was interesting seeing Damon and Bonnie fighting this entire episode and Enzo just fort of being in the middle of it. Then, somewhere else seeing Stefan and Rick fighting. It sucks that everyone is so pissed at each other right now.
I agree that I wish the development was written a little better when it comes to Bonnie and Enzo. However I do like the flashbacks of how they got together in this episode. The scenes were honestly so cute. Plus he does make Bonnie happy so there isn't any way I can possibly hate them lol

So...it makes sense that Rayna has all the power of that many former hunters, plus vision. As for the argument about Damon and Enzo in prison....Damon could have thrown him several people that he could have shoved their arm into the cell so Enzo could feed and then break out. That's how he could have helped. He could have easily taken the keys off that guy he fed on and opened the cell. Damon thrives in chaos, yet the writers gave him no quick wit to break Enzo out? Mmkay.🙄 He just didn't think to do it, and took the easy way out by flipping his switch.

The Alaric/Caroline romance was the WORST THING the show ever did. It was so gross. And the Alaric/Stefan drama was so annoying. Like at one point Alaric was so cool and he had a great relationship with stefan and damon and then they had to go and ruin that whole thing. I really didnt like Alaric in season 7. He was an idiot. I will blame it on his grief for Jo and trying to rebound idk. I hated that SL so much.

The best way I can explain Damon getting Enzo out of a cell, is by grabbing a cloth and putting it over the bar so it wouldn’t hurt

Honestly i still dont get bonnie and enzo relationship its just came out of nowhere. And i didnt really like it. And as for alaric and Stefan's situation both are right in their own way and i respect that and for damon he needs to give people time to forgive him. Thats what irritates me more about him he expects everyone to just forget what he did and move on like it never happened. Thats not how it works 🤦

The Alaric/Caroline romance was the WORST THING the show ever did. It was so gross.
And the Alaric/Stefan drama was so annoying. Like at one point Alaric was so cool and he had a great relationship with stefan and damon and then they had to go and ruin that whole thing. I really didnt like Alaric in season 7. He was an idiot. I will blame it on his grief for Jo and trying to rebound idk. I hated that SL so much.

Damon when he returned and found things not right he did not think or reproached his brother what he did for him, he never got angry with Stefan who died and catapulted into a prison of the past because of him. he found his girlfriend with no memories of him and that he moved on ... Stefan this season is very unpleasant towards Damon he blames him for everything and treats him badly ... I'm sorry ... instead of Damon I would have sung him two and also three to Stefan ... then let your brother go and get out of his life if you have the impossible life for him

Enzo I really love you but damn stop blaming Damon for everything that by the way it's your fault and not Damon's, you let Reyna escape, you blackmailed Damon for something that wasn't his fault and he didn't do it, you can you get caught by Reyna, you kidnap Damon and let them put him in the room with Tayler, to bite him, you also kidnap Bonnie, Damon and Bonnie who fight to keep each other alive, his brother who saves his life and is forced to run away because you blackmailed him, Reyna attacking Bonnie and so she finds herself giving him the dagger etc. and so it will be Damon's fault .... I'm sorry dear Enzo I love you but it all happened because of you not Damon's only that he takes all the criticism.
