Stop-Motion Transformation of DreamStar Toys DST01-005 Scorch Flight. Very cool. Last one! Combination supercut coming soon! I’ll need to spend some time with them and get them all transformed multiple times, so next week will be MagicSquare Grimlock just to give me time to deal with them. Yes, I know there are little pegs on his waist you are supposed to use when he is in plane mode and no, I don’t recommend bothering with them. I try to show it, but those little knee bits (the ones that you slot into the knees for robot mode) need to be pointed toward the feet so the thighs will fit properly inside the legs for jet and arm modes. Also, how grandiose is the numbering convention being used by Dreamstar? They plan for up to 99 combiner sets and some may have more than 99 members each?

If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.

Pretty impressive how slender they got the F-4 mode.
I had no idea he was an F-4 😂. I thought the F-4 nose cone was much bigger on the real plane. Thank you though.

@@abezworld9435 I had an issue with one of the feet of the torso guy breaking off but ShowZ got me sorted. I had no issues with the F16.

these guys look cool although a little bit nightmarish to manipulate.. really wish the limb bots came in the colours that their characters were supposed to be.. right now it feels more like silverbolt with some generic drones than the aerialbots
The combined mode certainly has a nice unified color scheme.

It's imperfect but soooo shiny!
I only had trouble with Silverbolt's robot foot breaking off. ShowZ (and by extension DST) took care of it for me.

nice video. does anybody know what scale the jet modes are?
Spitballing from memory, but the last jet was the F4 and I'd say that jet was about 10 inches long. IRL length is 63 feet, so that would make the scale about... 75:1. I'm not sure if they all have the same scale, but probably not. They all seem about the same size but the F4 and F15 are 63' IRL and the Harrier and F16 are closer to 47'. So the scales would differ.
I left out the concorde, but that jet mode is way off being a real concorde shape, so scale hardly seems to matter.
But for the record, a Concorde is 202' long.
