Love your video's! I was just watching your video about your transit to Hawaii. It's so great to see people doing ocean voyaging on a gaffer. I have worked in traditional ships the last eight years and my Girlfriend and I are saving for a wooden gaffer to take cruising. Were from Vancouver Island. Gives me hope to see you guys making it happen! Hope to be on our passage to Hawaii in 5 years. Cheers Ryan
First time I saw this video was two days after you posted it. Most excellent in every way. She loves your insightfulness and gentle demeanor. First mate is most beautiful in every way. Just like the time and effort into the boat; all of the time and effort in breastfeeding is most beautiful and worthwhile. The most time consuming task but what would I know I only have seven children. Very inspiring keep posting thank you. Colby
Hey there from Central Oregon USA! I'm a new subscriber and just love you guys!!! I have spent the last few days binge watching all your videos and am so bummed I have to wait for the next one. :-( Seeing the 1st mate back on board is awesome and with a 2nd mate as well is ABSOLUTELY GLORIOUS!!!! It isn't her assets that I love to see, its her manner and the joy and excitement of being alive she brings to the videos. She just brings a smile to my face no matter what the episode is about.....GODSPEED to you guys and if you keep making videos, I'll keep watching, sharing and liking each and every one! CHEERS!
A beautiful video of a great sail and the whole crew is aboard. I admire your vessel and the way you and Eryn do things. I enjoy watching SV Delos but I do not admire them quite as much. Lithium batteries, ice maker and all that are interesting. Brian on Delos has technical ability and that’s good he needs it to keep all that tech running. I think Simon has exceptional knowledge in things technical and practical. I sail Texas waters but I rather like the way Australians and New Zealanders go about it. Captain and first Mate are real adventurers with knowledge of the sea and their vessel.
I've followed you all the way across the pacific...its weird, I don't know you...but seeing you two back together again makes my heart swell. Simply wonderful. Enjoy.
Another great video Simon and Eryn. Watching your videos from Florida to Hawaii, I suspected you were both class acts. After your return home when you made "Mr. Postman," and hand-wrote every thank-you card, that's when I knew for sure. You are a classy crew. Thank you.
Great video! Thanks for putting the effort in to get those great camera angles. I like the fact that there is no schedule for your videos. Just the surprise followed by a big smile. Nice one!
G'day guys from Nz. Been watching from early days when you bought Narwhal. Lovely ship. And now you've got an extea crew member. Love your channel. Love to see you over the ditch in Nz. Once our borders are open of course. Take care and stay safe.
Always a joy watching you guys work together. Si, I believe you are the reason I drink so much and First Mate helps me sober up. A bloody wicked circle. Take good care of your new navigator.
There has been a disbute between You Tube and the Danish music industry, so I was not allowed to see most of the content in my contry.. Now they agreed some kind of a deal, so now im back. I even got Premium. I love youre video work, nice angels, I even love 360 cam. cheres ;O)
Madness: Yesterday I was looking at your website to see if I was missing new videos being uploaded, and the very next day one appears as if by magic! The universe provided, or possibly it was you jolly jack tars who sorted it out. Anyway, thank you. Now pardon me if I warm my frozen UK toes near the screen as the video of your sunny exploits plays. Ooh, even that squall is toasty warm!
I'm way behind...I didn't know you were actually a couple, nor that you're back, nor that you're going to have a baby! Other than that, a true fan! Great vid.
The more belly in the sail, the more it will cause you to round up, stretched sails are bad for that. A good example is a wind surfer sail that has not been flattened enough, will make it uncontrollable, in strong wind.
50 miles, the Percy's? spear fishing and fossicking for food, at least the baby won't go hungry. Great to to see another flick, I had to watch it three times.
Nice video again. I get a feeling you get the feeling of the 360 camera now - here it works really well. It's funny how you report 8 knots (land speed? Or relative to water?) where similar sized very modern Tupperware boats with optimized hydrodynamic shapes might not have gotten much better. You really need a much bigger sail area to get faster. Well, good for you, sailor!
Aye!!! Narhval is quick through the water! We were doing 6.5+ with 1.2 knots of current!! The wind was at 150 degrees, hard to keep the headsail filled but with 20 knots and more she gets her old groove on 😊
@@TheGeordietheWitchandtheWench Nice to see Eryn on the helm back from her break... your sails are lookin a little raggy how about a wee spray with some oxalic acid... it doesntnt just make them look new but helps for a longer life by warding off rot & uv degradation... its an extract from rubbarb leaves & perfectly safe used in dry cleaning for removing metalic stains... disolves rust stain in wood too... try it you wont look back matey... cheers from NZ home of the cup
SO......SIMON!!!!!!!! ARE YOU THE DADDY??????? I TOTALLY MISSED Something!!!! I saw Eryn with the baby Last time,,,,,NOW She is Breast Feeding!!! are you Daddy?
Such an amazing boat, powerful woman/Mother and skipper.....
Such a lovely journey you folks have taken us on.... Be well and fair winds!
Eryn looks so majestic with her hand on the tiller and the wind in her hair.
Beautiful camera work Simon 👍👍👍
Steady Teddy...
Your boat, your video are perfect. The song is perfect. Wood, sail and rock’n roll 🤟

Awesome 👍 Thanks for sharing
I'm a sailor at heart, stuck on the mainland. My wife would never live on a sail boat.
Great video
