Nice overview of your TBR books, it's impressive how many books you've already read :) You say one continuous poem for Ovid but they are divided into smaller sections even within the 15 book divide. There are also more spaces between the lines so it's easier to approach. Some sections are 80 or 50 lines some are 15 lines. The book has a mix of characters being dramatic and extra but also has some horrific tales and tragic ones. As far as I remember after the first few lines and the world building of creation (which has some technical terms and more name dropping of gods, lands and waters) the language seemed easier. For me the tone sometimes seems like ghost stories around the campfire where people share stories to tell. Btw. Read whenever you want and don't worry about having to read it.
