I honestly cant stop listening to these songs. But New Jeans has been my #1 most listened group since their debut. The fact that their songs are so easy to listen to is a big part of it. Their voices are pretty and as a fan of many SM groups, I kinda enjoy the change with NJ and the lack of super high notes and epic sounding songs
I'm obsessed with this retro futuristic vibe/80s funk/90s Brooklyn hip hop/2000s jpop vibe for Supernatural! Also idk if it's just me but I feel like we're getting more advanced vocals from them! They sound quite different to their debut era and i can hear improvements! I also love the 90s/2000s quirky American sitcom concept for Right Now! Sounds like an intro for an actual sitcom! They did a concept switch up so well! ❤❤

Yes !! NewJeans !! I like them. I like *BABYMONSTER.* Their rapping is cool. Their vocals are phenomenal. Their dancing is amazing. Their M/Vs are top-tier. RORA, AHYEON and RAMI are my favorite members in the group.
Minji is one of the lyric writers for Supernatural. Pharrell is also credited as a lyricist and composer because it samples the 2009 track Back of My Mind by Japanese singer Manami and Pharrell.
I'm obsessed with these new tracks, actually. However, I must say that I think they released this to just feed the hunger of fans since it's been like almost 10 months of no comeback, and I'm assuming to also build a stronger fanbase in korea and japan. Also, for NewJeans to perform more so they keep improving and not lost confidence while performing in stage in preparation of their upcoming world tour, and I will say that they have become so much more stable with their live vocals, I'm amazed lol. This is all definitely just a preparation to the actual big thing they're dropping next time which is the full album, hanni confirmed later this year in their latest fanmeeting. I am insanely excited about it lol. Their performances on Bunnies Camp were insane, I think they'll drop the official broadcasting of it in August!
I love NewJeans and their laid back vibe, but I totally agree there needs to be more. I don’t expect a bunch of wild ad libs or runs but some more vocal layering like Cool With You, in a more intense style like Get Up would make it feel more full. I agree Supernatural does sound transitional, so fingers crossed! I do love all these releases though! But that Get Up tease last year was just cruel. 😂
the new jack swing sound is nice but like they shouldve added way more harmonies and ablibs if they wanted to do that sound. u cant just half commit to the sound
