I never really played shadow priest as a holy priest main and sub rogue. I honestly never had to confidence to play it in m+. But, because of you, I love playing shadow now haha. Keep up the great content bud.
Thank you for the kind words! I’m a long time rogue main, so committing to shadow this expansion, especially before all the buffs, was an incredibly hard decision, but it paid off in the end! Happy to be playing shadow and making content everyone can enjoy :)

Nice, Do you have any tips not to tunnel on WA? During rotation do you typically just focus on the mobs and glance on WA or focus on WA and glance on Mobs? I feel like I am tunneling way to much on my WA especially during Lust with too much Insanity that I do not want to overcap and also like forget to keep the Mind Blast always rolling.
Yeah in most situations, I’m glancing at my insanity bar to see if im capped, and I have a sound queue for mind devourer proc to know when I get a free cast. Other than that I’m just frequently looking at mind blast/mind games/void torrent CD on my weakaura! All other time is spent looking at mobs for dot uptime and mechanics! Hope that helps!

What do you think about Voidmender's Shadowgem vs Horn of valor ? i know simming is the answer but was curious about your experience
I have both at 415 and I always choose shadowgem over horn, I feel the baseline in is more valuable than the vers
@@fabdaddyx i see now , i ve noticed all top shadow priests use gem over horn. so baseline stat is the reason, had the impression that intellect boost would take over crit but did not factor the baseline

Nah it’s not a bad thing to let it channel, I’m just a sperg :) I don’t think it’s awful to cut it off early, but also don’t think it’s necessary, just do your best to use it at times where you won’t cap and you’ll be good :)! Just different in the heat of the moment sometimes!

Were you missing your Shadow Crash on the ads during the Tree Boss? Your Frames weren't showing dots on them and I couldn't track the projectile? Didn't realize I could send it on first set of ads and have it for the 2nd, so thanks for the video!
With the recent changes it delays the adds a bit now! The no dots is just a visual bug, I used to always think that too, but they are indeed dotted :)

Great video and thank you for profile links. One question, I have the raid markers in the middle of my UI, how do I hide them? Cant seem to see the option >
Raid markers are in the actual ground markers? I would suggest either moving it or just disabling it, mine is disabled so I’m not sure why it didn’t translate that way!
If you go toggle anchors you can see the name of the bar you’re looking to turn off and then just find that in Elv settings!

i am currently only level 63. however are you ever pressing mind sear when it doesnt proc off of mind blast? if not how are you spending insanity
Yep, Mindsear is can be pressed as 3+ mobs or 2+ mobs if you are in voidform
If I’m not spending insanity on mind sear it would be through devouring plague
Most frustrating thing about pugs as a shadow priest is a tank that doesn’t know to pull huge for you to pump.

Insane run GG WP! What do you think about droping 2 points out of malediction and spending them into insidious ire. I feel like especially in Algethar there are so many big pulls that I don't weave in void torrent anways. With insidious ire you could devouring plague the first mob in an aoe pull and get some juicy 40% dmg on mindblast that goes into psychic link.
I know it sound's kinda weird to apply DP into and AOE pull but I feel like I would do this more often rather than using void torrent.
Insidious ire is definitely very powerful, but I just really like having void torrent on a short CD it kinda helps the build make up what it lacks in, which is ST damage!
I've tested this a bit. The reality is, you're losing damage by using DP in an AoE situation over Mind Sear pretty much 100% of the time unless the mobs are really spread out (and you're doing pure PL damage). It does boost your Single Target damage a bit though, but I find the benefit of doing Crash -> Torrent -> Sear every 30 seconds is really nice.
Are you liking N'Zoth over C'thun right now? I feel like Algath'ar is one of the only dungeons I run N'Zoth on because of how much AoE there is, but curious what others think right now. Have to imagine it feels pretty bad in things like Court of Stars or Azure Vault.
Yeah I only play nzoth in academy and nokhud! Cthun in most other places sometimes I’m playing no sear at all!
@@fabdaddyx Yeah NO is the other one I run N'Zoth on. I always take Sear though, it's too cheap to get and having the option for it always feels better than not having it when you need it. Terros in the raid I guess would be one to drop Sear for, but not many situations outside of that I can think of.
Nicely done though in the video. Nice to see solid Shadow representation. I'm just hitting 20s this week, mostly in the 18 range right now.

I dont think I saw you cast DP back to back a single time, is it bad to do? Like if you get almost capped Insanity with a Mind Dev proc?
You do cast dev plague back to back on occasion but that tends to only happen during lust + PI, it’s the only time you’ll be super capped on insanity. But if you do find yourself overlapping a ton or have a MD proc then you can double cast

so what i don't understand with builds right now is when to use certain talents like n'zoth and when to use C'thun. also dont understand when to not take sear and when to. ive been pushing keys lately. highest being 19 HOV. i feel like this would help me to maximize on what i should be taking on certain keys.
im mainly just a sear player right now with torrent for splash damage and MB + IT. also take yogg.
Simple answer is play Nzoth in academy and nokhud and play cthun everywhere else. No mind sear is viable in all dungeons, but might fall short in some of them, it’s also considerably tougher to play! Hope that helps, ray!

Yep shadow crash, if you want it to apply both you need to be using misery as well (which you should use in all content anyway)

Hey great run! I copied your Plater Profile but it looks different then yours. Did i something wrong or its an old one?
Make sure you don’t have any other conflicting addons, like elvui nameplates ect. If they look larger than mine there is a setting in player for the scale that can be set to 1.0 to fix that

Spriest and boomie are certainly very strong, just need a good comp along side them!

@@jasonalbert530 I think for shadow or boomie rogue + enh or DH is very strong
Mostly just need interrupts to offset the fact that ours is so long of CD. I run with a Feral and Enh/DH regularly, and it works out really well.
