My number one tip is do it. She's flexible and a fun champ and while not the hardest her ceiling isnt super low either. For solo queue she's a great main, that helps with a ton of different skills developments.
If I have to base early and can't afford a full component like the lost chapter, then you can go dark seal. But only buy it during the early game, it's useless later
To add to what they're saying it's not exactly net useful often. You don't have enough for a amp tome and don't wanna start behind like that. Way easier to get fed enough it's negligible as gold waste(or wasn't cause you popped off and stacked it) then it is to come back one your enemies have a few items lead around and of their power spikes.

You e max now, and Blackfire Torch feels much better on her.
You don't max E mate, it's really bad and you're losing out on a lot of damage on the Q including waveclear
