I am just about to take on the Deloitte job simulation today and this has helped me an incredible amount and overall just provided me with great accurate knowledge on how properly and effectively tackle these job simulations. Whether I get to the next stage after this or not, I know I would've given it my best shot and had the best opportunity/advantage thanks to you! Thanks again mate. P.S. it's my first time watching one of your videos and will certainly be coming back in the near future :).
Thank you sir for the insight! and it was an exceptional quotes that I can bring home "We train hard to compete easy"! Stay healthy and keep the good work!
Hello, please would you be able to make another video on nailing the personal introduction? I'm very grateful for this video as I'm currently prepping for this very Deloitte interview - your upload couldn't have come at a better time!
Regards Deloitte not employing international students, that may not be 100% accurate, especially in the UK. Maybe for entry level, but for experienced hires, Deloitte has employed so so many international candidates especially in the Audit sector. Currently, Deloitte, PWC, EY, KPMG and BDO have employed a high number of international students between 2019 and date in the UK. I know some other international candidates also coming to the UK in the next few months. These 5 firms should be commended for that. Great video by the way, well done 👍
Hi Olusegun. I couldn't agree more. All multinationals employ best talent regardless of nationality. We are simply reporting our experience with our clients who are graduates and have had some push back. These policies are subject to change, and of course we are always lagging behind present information. Thanks for your very thoughtful comment.
Hi Mike, Appreciate the content! I'm a working professional with 5yrs experience in client facing digital strategy. I've been researching Big 4 consultancy roles and ability to transition over - Deloitte in particular has been standing out. One thing I can't seem to find much info on is transition stories post graduation. It would be great if this is something you could make a video on/address if you haven't already. Many Thanks!
Hi UnKaring, that's a really interesting point. I think at this point in our calendar it wouldn't be something we would cover. For me I think much of the same arguments apply for tailoring your skills and experience to the job required. My experience of working with young/mid 30's professionals (including my own) is that they zero in on where they are going and the skills required to become a more attractive proposition.
From my knowledge it is a bit different, for starters there is less questions and I tbink there is only numerical reasonjng rather than abstract also. However don’t quote me on it though as I’m not 100%.
Hi Brandon, that's just an email response to a business case study. Probably writing your findings to a Manager, they come up for some Deloitte roles. Hope it went well :) Mike
How do I prepare for the Situational Questions? For example, they usually give a case study and I never know what to stay since I'm only a second year student with no real experience in the corporate world.
I’m a new subscriber and I would love to work with you. I’m an accounting major and I need major help with my interview performance. Watching your videos for now.
Hi Ilse, you can book a session with me in the description of the video (work with Mike) or if you need more help drop your CV and what you're looking for to mike@jobreadyenglish.com :)
Hi, this was very useful can I ask if you ever made the video about personal introductions? Also, do you know any useful resources for numerical reasoning tests

@@jessicajames4984 Hi Jess, how did it go? What were you asked?
Thank you for making this video. It’s extremely informative. Btw a whiteboard sounds good, but even infront of the bookshelf is cool.
Thank you! We have been chopping and changing to find a set that fits.

After giving manager round, how much time to get the feedback from Deloitte?. If rejected in the manager round shall we get rejected mail immediately?
Could you please help to know what is written assessment test in Deloitte and how to prepare for that
Hi mate, this would be the email assessment for a case study :) Mike
Quick question please
Restructuring advisory analyst, what specific business area is that?
Hi Jessica, a question for Google :)
is the job simulation for brightstart apprenticeship any different?

Probably! The apprenticeship would be simpler
I have a 15-minute e-mail case challenge coming up, would you happen to know what this entails?

@@abhishekmahanty7761 its not really a case, just tests how youd write an email

deloitte is the only big 4 i've made it this far in and to hear they're not keen on international studients gives me anxiety
Hi Eltina, no need to be anxious, we are only going on past experience. Wait and see what the company says as our information will always lag behind.

What about the numerical aspect of the Hirevue assessment
Hi, we try to give general advice to help as many students as possible :)
