Nice to see the officals are finally sick of Marchand's antics.
I just like how they waited this long and his antics aren’t even that bad anymore.
He doesn't behave like a captain at all

He should be suspended for a game or 2 for pushing an official.
By the rules yes but the nhl also takes common sense into account. Marchand was clearly trying to get onto the bench and had no intent to harm or injure the referee and was just giving him a push.
@EpicEric2002 no the nhl rules actually say he should be suspended 10 games for any physicality towards an nhl .key word any physicality a shove is physicality so what are the options for the nhl there should only be 1 option is he suspended though no of course not why is that
@@EpicEric2002what does that matter common sense would mean that the nhl follows the rules which is a 10 game suspension for being physical with a ref 10 game not 1 so why is he not suspended oh thats right he plays for an American team if it was Toronto there would be a suspension for sure
