My grandma used to do "evil-eye" cleansing. This was done mostly for kids who couldn't sleep because of bad vibes from people. The egg is passed around the body of the suffering victim while the "healer" prays catholic prayers and the she would split the egg and drop it in a glass of water. If the egg dropped to the bottom of the glass leaving a lot of streaking lines of yolk, that meant someone unloaded bad vibes on that kid (unadvertedly). Crazy! Hahaha but it worked the kid was able to sleep well after the ritual
