This is real talk. I loved your show, you are a real one. It's my 1st time here, definitely coming back for more. Keep up the good work. Fever will be back. Came a long way and into the playoffs, it's not child play. CC is extraordinary, natural baller, can't wait to watch her again next season. For a rookie she proved a lot of haters wrong. What the WNBA as a league starting at the top with the Commissioner has done everything in it's power to sweep under the rug CC's achievements all season long and the flagrant fouls against her with no real reprimands to any of her foulers. Seeing how the Game 5 in the finals were so obviously biased in the referee's calls against the Lynx and non calls against the Liberty reminded me of how the refs turned a blind eye to the Fever vs the Sun. Had me scratching my head but when I saw the refs give the Liberty the free throws on a reviewed non foul with 6 seconds left to tie the game I was shaking my head in disgust. To top it all off when the Liberty were given the Trophy, the commissioner was wearing a New York City Skyline dress, I knew this game was rigged. She might as well have worn a Liberty jersey for goodness sakes. This league needs to be cleaned up by the NBA shareholders cleaning house starting with the commissioner.
Great players rarely make great coaches, or analysts. The fact that Cheryl keeps lying about Caitlin, knowing she is gonna be fact checked is beyond disappointing. Why? Why not just stick to the facts, and report them. Instead she is losing more and more of her fans to Caitlin everytime she opens her mouth.
Swoopes is not a great person. She has everyone fooled til now. With technology being the way it is now, the story of her getting fired as the head coach wasn't highlighted as it can now be. I get some players and coaches will clash coz of their personalities, but when 10 out of 12 women want out of their school because of Swoopes abusive behavior, that's a red flag.

You said it well, whining, her redefining the words like dominance, comparing, lying and moving the goal post. I listened to this to respect your POV. It’s hard to listen to her. I watch to watch a game, CC and other players… not to have a history lesson on Swopes. It’s all her ego. It could be legacy and mentorship like Cheryl Miller, but it’s petty and racist in her perspective. She isn’t learning and can’t see her own hate speech. Swopes is someone I want to forget.
If you really look at CC22 season: the first half season her micromanaging coach was trying to make CC22 become an old school player making her play a half-court game by dribble down and dump it into the post and let the post distribute outward. Christy Sides said it before every game in the first half and CC22 being a good rookie she tried to get used to the league by going along and we all saw that the Fever in the first half except for the last few games did what her coach told her to do, and the results sucked. At some point CC22 started to push the ball with tempo up the court and the Fever started to look like CC22 in college. After the break Sides gave in and let CC22 be herself and run the team and the results are history. I guess even Sides made coach of the month by letting CC22 be CC22. The WNBA is a half-court league, and the Fever is a fast pace full court team that is why people like watching CC22!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agreed, but combine that with the fact that the Fever didn't have a single team practice until after their 12th or 13th game of the season, while playing more games than any other team in the league (including 2 back-to-backs within a week) - and having to play multiple games against several rested top teams that could practice (played the Liberty 3x by game 13). Imagine being new to a team and league, and you can't have a team practice to get to know each other for the first 3-4 weeks of the season - in addition to the factors you mentioned. She and the team were given no chance of success, and she still had 1 or more 20 point games within the first month or so.
Reminds me of Magic with the lakers in the 80's. BTW, Magic won the championship in his rookie year. Check out his gameplay here on you tube. Magic 's ability to pass reminds me of CC22.
Liked the video and so rooted in basketball performance and not how I feel about a player. Your view is I will remain critical of said player without apologies this way of going at it is so refreshing instead of I have to keep somekind of political or social line to be in the politically correct arena. It's amazing to see a legend of the game disown her legacy and destroy her media career because Caitlin Clark lives rent free in her head. It's a shame to see Sheryl Swoopes so twisted by hate and jealousy.
Legends of what? The WNBA has improved a little bit in in 20+ years, if it was good basketball people would watch it. Swoops played during the leagues beginning, water downed talent and piss poor basketball, at least today there are 5 legit players and one elite player in Clark.
The Caitlin Clark Effect. I have never seen this much drama in any sport.

This is real talk. I loved your show, you are a real one. It's my 1st time here, definitely coming back for more. Keep up the good work. Fever will be back. Came a long way and into the playoffs, it's not child play. CC is extraordinary, natural baller, can't wait to watch her again next season. For a rookie she proved a lot of haters wrong. Numbers don't lie, broke records and sold out games from college to the WNBA. Players who have been in the league for years couldn't do what she did in her 1st season🔥🔥
What the WNBA as a league starting at the top with the Commissioner has done everything in it's power to sweep under the rug CC's achievements all season long and the flagrant fouls against her with no real reprimands to any of her foulers. Seeing how the Game 5 in the finals were so obviously biased in the referee's calls against the Lynx and non calls against the Liberty reminded me of how the refs turned a blind eye to the Fever vs the Sun. Had me scratching my head but when I saw the refs give the Liberty the free throws on a reviewed non foul with 6 seconds left to tie the game I was shaking my head in disgust. To top it all off when the Liberty were given the Trophy, the commissioner was wearing a New York City Skyline dress, I knew this game was rigged. She might as well have worn a Liberty jersey for goodness sakes. This league needs to be cleaned up by the NBA shareholders cleaning house starting with the commissioner.
Swoop. You are just sad. Please stop talking. It’s embarrassing to all basketball players. Swoop made herself irrelevant.
Great players rarely make great coaches, or analysts. The fact that Cheryl keeps lying about Caitlin, knowing she is gonna be fact checked is beyond disappointing. Why? Why not just stick to the facts, and report them. Instead she is losing more and more of her fans to Caitlin everytime she opens her mouth.

Swoopes is not a great person. She has everyone fooled til now. With technology being the way it is now, the story of her getting fired as the head coach wasn't highlighted as it can now be. I get some players and coaches will clash coz of their personalities, but when 10 out of 12 women want out of their school because of Swoopes abusive behavior, that's a red flag.
Angel Reese is bad at basketball. How is it this easy to make the WNBA????? Her size, 6’4, 180 is why she’s in the league. She can’t dribble, pass, block, make lay ups, defend. She can only BULLY BALL rebounds. Others showing how bad they are as well, Alyssa Thomas is really bad after 12 years of playing. Tons others cancelling themselves.

I watch to watch a game, CC and other players… not to have a history lesson on Swopes. It’s all her ego. It could be legacy and mentorship like Cheryl Miller, but it’s petty and racist in her perspective. She isn’t learning and can’t see her own hate speech.

If you really look at CC22 season: the first half season her micromanaging coach was trying to make CC22 become an old school player making her play a half-court game by dribble down and dump it into the post and let the post distribute outward. Christy Sides said it before every game in the first half and CC22 being a good rookie she tried to get used to the league by going along and we all saw that the Fever in the first half except for the last few games did what her coach told her to do, and the results sucked. At some point CC22 started to push the ball with tempo up the court and the Fever started to look like CC22 in college. After the break Sides gave in and let CC22 be herself and run the team and the results are history. I guess even Sides made coach of the month by letting CC22 be CC22. The WNBA is a half-court league, and the Fever is a fast pace full court team that is why people like watching CC22!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agreed, but combine that with the fact that the Fever didn't have a single team practice until after their 12th or 13th game of the season, while playing more games than any other team in the league (including 2 back-to-backs within a week) - and having to play multiple games against several rested top teams that could practice (played the Liberty 3x by game 13). Imagine being new to a team and league, and you can't have a team practice to get to know each other for the first 3-4 weeks of the season - in addition to the factors you mentioned. She and the team were given no chance of success, and she still had 1 or more 20 point games within the first month or so.
Reminds me of Magic with the lakers in the 80's. BTW, Magic won the championship in his rookie year. Check out his gameplay here on you tube. Magic 's ability to pass reminds me of CC22.
Liked the video and so rooted in basketball performance and not how I feel about a player. Your view is I will remain critical of said player without apologies this way of going at it is so refreshing instead of I have to keep somekind of political or social line to be in the politically correct arena. This is sport and should be treated and criticized as such and it has nothing to do with other issues in the country or the world.
