Song is about life on the road and missing those that you love. He had writer's block one night on the road (his guitar gave him nightmares) so he had the hotel staff wheel the lobby piano to his room. Waking up with a hangover he felt bad about making the staff bring him the piano so he sat down and wrote this song.

Yes, he broke many hearts the day he married, however, his love story is epic and it s a goal for anyone to have! Personally, I met my husband when I was in high school, we've been married for 25yrs and I'd never ever do anything different. We have 2 kids who are in college now and have been in and around ministry the whole time. It's fantastic!! If you want to hear a beautiful love song, we used this one as 'our' song True Companion by Marc Cohn. I'm enjoying going through your reactions, they are great. One day you'll have to look up Faouzia as well, she is amazing!!

And this is just one of his beautiful songs. He famously has one of the longest marriages in the industry. Married his high school sweetheart in 1989 and they are still married to this day. I believe I also at some point read that he, in the early days of being a rock star, did the whole "experimenting" with drugs thing and thought it's not for him and has not done it since. So you are not just looking at a successful rock artist but one who has one of the most successful marriages and looking at one of only a few completely drug free rock stars of the time.

I think it was in French though. One in the 1972 was Kris Kristofferson with - Why me, Lord. It was a #1 Country hit but did stay on the pop Billboard top 100 charts for 19 weeks and peaked at #16. No one ever reacts to it... might not have a video unless from a show?
Oh and one Sister Meade with a song to the words of the - Lord's Prayer. In 1974 ... the single charted for 13 weeks and reached a peak of #4 during Holy Week in April. The record also reached #2 on the Adult Contemporary singles chart.

Shows they are still actually reacting more the first time though.... Still it is best for young reactors to understand how videos especially early ones .... did not even many times the video was anything to do with the song visually. Like the group Blondi - for what was claimed as the first song with some Rap in to make it to #1. Blondie's Rapture (not to be confused with any Christian aspect) video though is a bit laughable.... you just should learn not to do it to other reactions over again or shouldn't.
Still we rather a true reaction. I agree though it can hurt some coming back again and especially hitting the Like button. So yes they best learn to maintain from laughing over the eras videos... and stick mostly to the song value in any video reaction especially early ones. It was a era NEVER to return as it was.
