How do you try to teach this to twins at a young age? My kids are 15 months. Thanks!

Hi Lily. This video is exactly for your age kiddos. Follow the tips in the video and just remember consistency and practice for both of you will help teach skills even at 15 months. They may not have the expressive language to tell each other how they feel or what they need, but you can offer those words for them. Let us know what other questions you have! Twins are fantastic to teach because they have lots of opportunities to practice with each other. Be their voice, for example if one is playing with a toy, guide the other one's hand out and say "can I take a turn please?" You can also literally just play "gentle" where you sit with them and practice gentle touching so they get the concept. This age is so important because they UNDERSTAND so much, even though they aren't as verbal. So they are primed for learning. We have a great siblings workshop coming up at the end of June as well!
