Could you tell me who you got the suspension from, as you didn't mention it in the episode.
They’re from TFX
Not for nothin, the whole bike is custom, you got this sick suspension but on it and then you’re attaching the shock reservoir with what looks like hose clamps. I figured you would have designed and 3D printed some kind of custom bracket for it. Just a thought.
For this I wanted to use it out of the box.
That's a lovely looking piece of kit. I especially like the swiveling banjo - I've not seen that before. You might want to put a piece of clear paint protection film under those hose clips as over time they will probably cut into the powder coating. As you've got CAD skills and access to 3D printing/CNC consider making a billet ring clamp that bolts around the frame rail to hold the reservoir.
I was thinking a bit of cnc would look nice to hold it.
Very nice component indeed. Great addition for the ghost 👌🏼
Thanks. It sure does finish it
I’m thinking TFX r sponsoring u gd plugs I’m gonna look em up. Looking forward to the final product 👍👍
Highly recommended
So excited! Yes.
Me too
I’m turning a scrambler icon into a carbon fiber streetfighter/cafe racer style bike. I’m looking to put a single side swingarm on it and was curious if you had any suggestions as to what model Ducati I should source it from. Had considered the 796 and hypermotard as some models share an engine with the Icon but unsure of what modifications would need to be done. I’ve only found a couple of examples of this project completed online but they don’t share much information on it.
I honestly couldn’t tell without taking measurements and comparing in real life. But best luck.
I reallly like the build.. It´s very cool and you have spend so much time, money, sweat und blood on it... but the resevoir looks cheap and wrong placed with these hose clamps... Is there no other space whrere it would look nicer.. maybe under the seat behind the tank cover?
I did want it to be stand out as I wanted to show off the brand. You can get variants to hide the reservoir.
I'll have to check TFX out. Did they sponsor and send the product or are you actually this hyped on them? xD Either way, looks like a solid product 👊👌
It’s a seriously decent product that I’m behind. So much hype behind other brands just because of names but these guys mean business
👍🏼
🤘
Is it possible to make ducati scrambler icon with yamaha r15 engine? I want to build one & ducati isn't available in Bangladesh! Our CC limit only 165 CC! So, Can anyone help me with some paper/drawing support? Please!
I wouldn’t understand why you’d want to swap the engine from a Ducati though.
@@forthebold no! I asked you! Is it possible to make everything like ducati scrambler icon handmade, just engine will be yamaha r15! Is it possible to make like that? If you got any papers or drawing to build whole body & frame.
@@EpicRiderQuotes it wouldn’t be worth the money spent.
@@forthebold 🥺🥺🥺 we cant use higher CC bikes in here 😢 our CC limit only 165 CC maximum! Ducati scrambler icon like dream 😢! I was thought I will build a bike same like ducati scrambler icon with handmade everything, like frame, chassis & engine will be 165 CC! But now not possible 😓 Thanks for reply 😓
I'm not impressed with the way the reservoir is attached to the frame. I would 3d print a bracket, would look a lot more professional.
That is an option but I wanted to use the kit that came from the box to show that
Isn't the Ghost already completed? Thought it was at 22s BikeShed.
It sure is. Just a few videos behind.
